Hot Keys (TMO)

I see this in my config...

Key0=0x51,,"Q"

Ctxt=1
Key0=0x0D,c,"Ctrl+Enter"

[Cmd314]
Name=Select_torpedo_tube
Ctxt=1

[Cmd315]
Name=Select_tube_1
Ctxt=1

[Cmd316]
Name=Select_tube_2
Ctxt=1

[Cmd317]
Name=Select_tube_3
Ctxt=1

[Cmd318]
Name=Select_tube_4
Ctxt=1

[Cmd319]
Name=Select_tube_5
Ctxt=1

[Cmd320]
Name=Select_tube_6
Ctxt=1

So...does this mean I can fire torps using CTL + Enter but I have to manually choose tubes? Can I set a key bind to choose tubes?
How would I do this? I'd like to choose a tube with a key stroke so I can open and close the tubes AND shoot using hotkey commands. :arrgh!:

Presumably you'd just have to bind some keys to select the individual tubes. I don't understand what you mean by "manually" select tubes. Pressing W to cycle or clicking on the GUI or anything else is a "manual" action. The game never reads your mind or changes tubes without some direct user input.

On my game (and stock) I have W set to cycle tubes which is plenty fast for me.
[Cmd323]
Name=Cycle_torp_tube
Ctxt=1
Key0=0x57,,"W"

If I want to open 3 tubes ready to fire then I'd press Q, W, Q, W, Q, W, W, W, W, W, W, W, W. Then to fire it would be "Fire", W, "Fire", W, "Fire."

The game auto-closes the tubes after you've fired.

AHA.... I somehow missed that "W" was to cycle tubes. Now I understand.

Thanks Frederf. :yep:

:cool: Or, check the bindings for keys "1" through "0" ... I think they normally govern speed. If so, but you use the telegraph instead of keys, you can reassign the numbers, one to each tube.

Or, maybe try Shift+number instead.
