lt commander lare |
Hmmmm.......addon.........Pacific :hmmm: Patch 1.1:D Dan?
|
I'll look into my "Crystal Ball" and get back to you all. :haha:
|
The only problem would be the sub's interior. Where would you get all the rooms from? I don't think people would like to 'ride' an uboat under the American flag. :)
So the solution would be an official add-on. |
And preferably one though that allows both Allied and Axis campaigns to be run side by side with the same installation, rather then the SH4 approach. ;)

a japanese side add-on I will buy it too. |
@Maerean_m
I'd buy it too, as I'm sure would almost everyone here would, please add it to you project to-do list!!:up: |
My gut tells me there will not be an add-on for the Pacific. There is so much that needs to be replaced or added new. But even more important is a marketing reason. UBISoft will surely want to offer the Pacific theater as a stand alone sub sim instead of a lower priced add-on. My bet is that SH5 will be cloned and modified to create SH6 and will be released about 18 months or less after SH5. This assumes the new interface goes over well.

I can live with that. I just hope they don't make more improvements in between - not because I don't like improvements, but because it will open up more complaints about one side or the other not being served properly. I'd love to see identically good games for both phases of the war, followed by British, Dutch, Russian and Japanese submarines, plus a good Escort Sim.
Hey, I can dream, can't I? |

have you ever looked at Shells of Fury btw ? keltos |
No. But they have indicated some time ago they built a new engine, and by the looks of the new features this is true. We must wait for more details from ubisoft about what the future of modding looks like.
