Noob on board: How to finish mission
 

Another VERY lame question but status noob is where we all started. Well i did a succesful mission,patrolled in 2 areas, sunk 3 ships and escaped from the destroyers, mission well done! But! How i can finish the mission? If i exit to main menu it says mission complete but how i can go on to the next? If i take american champaign then it only lets me start new one. Im confused.

Did you return to your home port?

You need to return to your home port first and dock your submarine there. When you get close enough, a menu will pop up with three options:

1: Rearm and Refuel
2: End Patrol
3: Postpone

Then just pick your choice.

Nothing happens...

See the button at the top of the screen with the submarine, that i would imagine is the "end mission" button. Different from how mine looks, but I am using a mod.

press that and you'll be able to end your patrol :)

What radio mission did you receive?

Are you sure you are docked, correctly?

Are you at battle stations in that screen shot?

First of all, make sure that you are at the port where you can actually dock.
To my knowledge you can only end mission at the base indicated by TILTED anchor icon.
When you get close to the base (you don't have to be all the way to the port) you will either see a pop-up window with options:
Rearm and Refuel
End Patrol
Postpone

or

Depending on your time compression you might miss this menu.
If you do that's not a problem as soon as you can dock there is gonna be an anchor icon in your upper right corner. If you click it it will open the same pop-up window and you can select "End Patrol".

Looking at the screencap you posted my guess would be that you are at the port not indicated by tilted anchor icon (there's no anchor icon present in your upper right corner), you are definitely close enough...

Well i got bunch of docks with anchor but no dock with tilted one. All my objectives are complete so what gives?

Pull up your navigation map. You should see a base with a titled anchor. Are you at a base that shows a titled anchor on the map?

There's got to be one with tilted anchor. The icon is usually little bit lighter shade of blue than the other ones. Keep looking ;)
What base did you start the mission from? That's usually the one you should return to....

I swear i looked ALL of the ports multiple times, the tilted ancor wasnt there, only straight one what means i can resupply. And now when i loaded the game again i got the tilted ancor on the map and i went there and mission over! Wuala! Nice bug eh?
