Small Coal Tender (Schute_M2) Problem in GWX 2.1

Previously I thought this to be a fault of the zones.cfg file but this has been fixed and on a completely new patrol & area came across this, engines running but stationary:
http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h2...nderFault1.jpg
I was able to sink it but even after "NA she's going down" message the man is still there:
http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h2...nderFault2.jpg
The Schute_M2.cfg file contains the following:

[Unit]
ClassName=Schute_M2
UnitType=104
MaxSpeed=9
Length=48
Width=9.8
Mast=11.3
Draft=2.2
Displacement=305
RenownAwarded=20

[2DCompartments]
UnitPos=137,12,237,16
NbOfComp=1
Name1=Keel
Area1=203,5,93,11

Is there any problem, seems the ships waterline is way too high, any suggestions?:-?
I tried to load the Museum but gets to about 1/4 way with red bar & CTD, all mods have been disabled, I did forget to roll back SH3 Commander, doubt this would cause problems!:damn:
Any ideas?:oops:
Thanks.

Hi Reece,

you can fix the problem (of draft) in the SIM-file. Open the SIM-file (with MiniTweaker or S3D), go to "obj_hydro" - "surfaced" - "draught" and set "draught=2,2". This will keep the small tender on his CWL.

Thanks I will have a look, I couldn't get the museum up so I completely uninstalled SHIII from the hard drive, then reinstalled up to GWX 2.1 & museum works, I checked the coal tender there & is at correct depth, however I will have to start a whole new career & wait till I come across it again!:damn: Thats life!:lol:

Suffers from what we term the " sinking ship " bug
Anytime spent in the rendering range before visually sighting the ship causes the ship to slowly sink over time
Problem started in stock and got worse as ships built from those stock vessels

Some ships were terrible
PPL for example - if you made contact and saw the ship then broke contact and sailed back to the ship sometime later it would be almost completely sunk
In fact nearly all but the small and coastal merc showed some signs and you can guess how many ships were built using stock models as a base

Tis why when you sailed back to port you could hear and see ships sinking
Fix was to raise the draft a bit
Too much and the ship will float above water

This was obviously one that got missed :oops:

Nice to see you Rowi my friend
Hope all is well with you

The draught is already set to 2.2:-? If this problem persists it might be better just to remove it!:yep:
I assume removal from the roster is all, or would it be in campaign files?
Thanks.

Hi bbw,

you can eliminate this bug by fixing the draught (surfaced) in the SIM-file (of each ship). The ships will keep this fixed draft, no more "hover craft" or ships which "run on ground".

It was already set to 2.2 in the sim Rob

No mind
Have lowered draft to 2
Seems to stop it
Though will need to test a sationary one

Started next to the unit and sailed over 300 k away for 2 days
Came back and

Thanks a heap BBW & Rob, I will try the mod, problem is I have to start a new career so may take a while to find it!:yep:
Cheers.

Edit: I noticed it was included in your GWX 2.1 Minor fix's 26th April fix, thanks.
