[REQ] Black&White pp filter
Anyone strong at coding post process filters?
Id like to see silent hunter in Black & White. |
Which GPU you have, ATI or Nvidia? I think you can turn everything B&W from the ATI control panel. I remember hearing this some years back so not 100% sure.

Dowly might be right; and if what I'm thinking is correct, it should be in Nvidia as well.
There are color hue and saturation settings; and I would imagine you could zero down the saturation to a greyscale (Black and White). Will test. |
Ok, so here's the thing...
You can in fact "de-saturate" the colors through the driver control panel. but this is really a back door cheat. You're not really removing the color ingame, you're just turning down the color on the monitor. The game engine is still generating the frames in color, and the driver is doing the 'post processing'. It does look cool though. These are actually from your "Natural Sinking" mission. :smug: http://www.mayhemonstrings.com/Images/ns1.jpg http://www.mayhemonstrings.com/Images/ns2.jpg |
This sounds very interesting. This might be something worth trying.
