i know about the warhead mods but is there a seeker/guidance mod out there for torps

so anything any direction to point me or any of that ??? to either put the guidance of a mk 27 into the high speed mk 23 or give the speed of a mk 23 to a mk 27 or is that out of the realm of modding ?

The speed thing is easy:
  1. Get Silent 3ditor(S3D)
  2. Backup your SH4/Data/Library/Torpedoes_US.sim and open it with S3D
  3. Adjust the speed and range of the very first entry(amun_AcousticTorpedo). It's the Mk27.
  4. Save and have fun with it!

The guidance part, I have no idea.

Here's how I start:

1. Pick a file at random
2. Make a change to it, noting what you think it might do in-game.
3. Test it out. Note that the change did something totally unpredictable and nonsensical, and had nothing to do with your initial guess.
4. Change said file back to it's orginal state.
5. Repeat.

ok so the general modding of files i can understand its getting s3d to work so i can open these files to Mod them
