colored ships
hi guys,
I play GWX (2.0) almost 100% realism. Sometime in the map popup a little square indicate a ship position, her speed (low, medium or fast) and her bearing. I supose it popup 'cos the BDU or others u-boats report its position (and other datas). If my suposed is right I tought that BDU (or U-boats) report if the ship is allied (red square) Axis (blue square) or neutral (I dont' remember which colour). In GWX (2.0) the squares are always grey, so I want the colour back (as in the stock game). Is it possible? Tnx in advance. mau---- P.S.: sorry 4 my bad English |
I play GWX2.0, and I actually don't mind the grey contacts and go full speed to check its nationality -as I assume the unit that forwarded the report might not get the information right-what really bugs me is that you get those grey contacts even when you're not on the surface:shifty:
Someone please explain to me how the U boat could get a radio signal when submerged? |

and unitsfiles in the unitmap I'm not using air and sea files becouse there aren't compleet, many new ships and plaines in GWX. And it works without |
Tnx mengle
I got "GWX contact color" and I have the color back now. But... all the ships (and my u-boat too) now have the tails as well. I wouldn't the tail (its more realistic). Do U know how to hold the colours and leave the tails? Tnx a lot. mau---- |

The tail can be found in data/Menu/Gui/ContLine.tga. This file is also used for the hydrophone contact line.
