About to start my first campaign- Recommendations
Hi, well I'm about to start my first campaign, should I go through a complete stock SH4 1.4 campain or should I run TM or RSRD, do these fix any problems or do they just change the gameplay, or both!:D
Thanks. |
Intel troop convoy SSE 1/2 way up W coast Luzon
Assuming Your patched to 1.4 stock, you should find many contacts.Set torps to contact,6 ft. ,fast,& open doors at 100 ft.or less. Come to battle sta.torps load faster, come out of silent running. My first patrol with patch 1.4 I dudded alot of fish when set to contact influence, feel this, maybe the switch is working as intended. Enjoy

Thanks for the advise, all noted, since TM is harder it would probably pay to run stock or the others first, I managed to get the latest version of TM downloaded Ducimus, and I'm sure it's smaller, 150m, compared to just over 200m previously, IIRC.:yep:
I will try downloading Sobers mod when the PC is idle, as that one is around 250m!:D One last thing, the shortcut card doesn't show a key for Battle stations/General quarters, is there one? Well, I'm off to take command of my new submarine, wonder what port they will send me to .... where will my first patrol be .... what are my orders .... bla bla bla! Cheers. |
It's possible to create key combos for anything in the game which is only an icon for now, but I'm not able to help with that one. I have no trouble using the icon. Just remember to turn it off when you no longer need it. Visit your crew maintenance screen often so you don't get caught off guard.
You will find the stock game quite challenging when first starting out especially if you have the game play options set above 50%. -Pv- |
Thanks -Pv-:yep:
