[REL] Mini Chrono, Imperial Nomograph & Classic Worn Scopes v1.4 Rev.A w/SCAF

[REL] Mini Chrono, Imperial Nomograph & Classic Worn Scopes COMBO for v1.5

=============
Revision A Changes

This is a new release (revision A) of the Combo Mod Classic Better Scopes, Imperial Nomograph and mini chrono.

I made some fine tuning to the Menu.ini and fixed the observation scope bearing indicator to reflect the Original Better Scopes Mod. The observation scope bearing indicator looks MUCH nicer now.

I highly recommend discarding the old one and using this new revision. Its file structure is perfect and the menu.ini has been triple checked into the stock v1.4 menu.ini.

Happy hunting and good luck!

This mod combines the following three items...

1) Imperial Nomograph Mod created by Chris, cdrake66
Chris's thread here.

2) Mini Chrono ini change. This modification simply changes the chrono size and makes it 60% smaller. Use whatever chrono graphic you would like.

3) “classic” Better Scopes (worn version)… By Captain Cox and l3th4l
This is the version they did a few months back. I think it offers a very realistic and playable experience. A lot of work went into this scope version by these two. This scope is slightly different than the modified scopes currently circulating. It offers a little brighter of a picture, some appearance of being worn, and looks very real.

About the Mod…
All I did was simply merge the files together in one safe, version 1.4 compatible combo mod that is JSGME compatible.

Special thanks to these developers for their hard work.

If anyone has any issues please dont hesitate to hunt me down and drop me a message. I merged the files and changes INTO the new patch line by line in order to maintain V1.4 status quo.

Nice one
Though i'll have to fiddle with it to get rid of that imperial nomo... Since i'm french, i'm more accustomed to the metric system.

I love it!....Those scopes are great, especially the attack scope. Can you tell me how to edit the message box at the top of the screen so that it is transparent? I am use to having it that way and now (after 1.4) I am distracted by it. Again, great job!!!

The scopes i rolled into this little mini combo mod i just fell in love with when they were released back in the v1.2 days. They were done by l3th4l and Cox a long time ago over much discussion and have since evolved into better scopes 1.5.1

For some reason i liked this version in particular. I think this version was a balance of playability, realism, brightness and view. Nothing overdone well balanced. I like the overall picture that your presented with when looking "at" the periscope. Especially the writing around the scope rubber, the physical size of the viewing area and how the background (or lack thereof) is very proportionate to it.

I was packaging up doing both versions of the Nomograph (imperal and metric) back in the 1.1 1.2 days but have since been partial to just the imperial one. If your doing metric im almost willing to bet you could dig up a Metric Nomograph.dds somewhere around these boards and then its just a matter of swapping the dds and making sure the name of the file jives with the menu entry.

I just downloaded this beauty yesterday. Talk about the immersion factor with that scope, wow! Just loving it, thanks!

don't you want to add metric nomograph back? I'm too lazy:oops:;)

Love your MOD but I am experiencing a conflict with the SCAF MOD as they both use the menu_1024_768 file.

Is there any way you could make each part of the MOD available as a download? I am particularily interested in the scope; however, reading the scope related thread makes me wonder whether I am going to get the scope you use or another, possibly non-compatible version.

Thanks!

Very well done ATR-42. I like what you did with this and it and will most certainly be used with me. I like the large aperture of the scope, realistic markings, and that you made the picture lighter. Smaller chrono...ahhh yes.

Thanks

Im glad you guys enjoy it! I only rolled them all together, the scopes are the hard work of Cox and l3th4l so the real thanks to them! My favorite part of this version of the scopes they did was the background of the scope itself.

I dont mod my game much, Foos skins, flags, ROW and this is really about it.

once i hear back from Scurvy I'll get this out to you guys with the SCAF1.1.
