How do you Hide the Interface?

According to the F1 isn't there supposed to be a function (Numpad + Delete) to disable/enable the dials/black bar and such on the lower portion of the screen. Having a full view would be nice for a change.

I've seen the transparent dial mod and that looks interesting but it never made it to its required destination, therefore, it does not work in my current game.

I'm using a notebook for SH3 so how do you hide the interface?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Cheers

The DEL key from the numpad should work, just make sure you have the numlock enabled.
Unless you are talking about something else....

Thanks for the tip Cap! My notebook keypad uses "Fn" to enable the numbers or the Numpad I guess. I've tried hitting the "Fn" key plus "Delete" to hide the interface and it doesn't work.

Are you pressing both keys at the same time?
Try first Fn and then DEL.
My advice if this doesn't work, is to hang around here, because for sure other kaleuns will give you the assistance you need.
Oh, just one more thing: instead DEL, try also with the "+" key.
Hope you can solve this problem.

Try Fn + ,

Hmm, it's Fn . on my notebook. Fn + increases time compression for me.

So, you found the solution? is it with "." ?
Good for you.

Thanks again. I'll try all of this next time I get the game on. That black bar in the interface gets bothersome after a while.

How can you remap the keys? I'm having like the same problem, but it's due to the fact that I'm playing SH3 on a laptop. So I'm missing some keys.

If it's bothersome get yourself a usb extended keyboard.

Sebbe02,

You want SetKeys -- it's a free app here at Subsim's SH3 Downloads. Works for all the commands, it's great.

I use FLBSales U-999's '6-Dials Simfeeling Mod'. There is no interface, unless you pass the cursor over it:

Generally, when the boss is walking by, I just open a spreadsheet, a word document, or my e-mail overtop of it. That completely hides the interface... :arrgh!:

Thanks for the tips! I'm looking for a fresh install soon and will give it a go! Thanks again!

Cheers
