How do you get reports in German?

I was looking at the post about "drinks on me" and some one posted a screenshot of a post patrol report and everything was written in german. For example, where it says merchant ships sunk... warships sunk... these are in english on my computer and I would like for them to be written in german, like the s-shot.
I've taken german throughout highgschool and college, and this adds a little more realism to the sim for me.
thanks

When the game first loads go to options

There you can change the language set up
Sometimes can take a while to change so be patient

I always thought one of the most popular setups was 'spoken Geman' and 'written English' :hmm:

Grabben sie die Torpedoes und shoven dem into the Rohr. Then shiessen them into ein Shiff.

Jawhol, Herr Kaleun. Wir sprechen gut English zum practice after wir machen Herr Churchil shine unserer boots (stiefeln) not German boots (boats).

Mit Bernard am bort, alles goes kaputis (Hindi pronunciation of kaput).

If you understand this message, dock your boat, shut down your computer --You need leave !! :88)

Same here. I love listening to historic-sounding voices, but I can't read it fast enough to react.:rotfl:

On the old Destroyer Command boards we had a German player post that the German version of the game didn't have an 'English' option; he was writing to ask if someone would send him all the voice files from the American version, as he would rather listen to stilted, phony-sounding voices in the proper language than hear the same in German with bad American accents on top of it!
