Photo Re-con missions
 

I am having a real frustrating time completing a photo re-con mission. I have gotten within 830 yards of my target, (I heard you had to get within 8 nautical miles) it is daytime, my sub is submerged, and I'm locked-on thru the periscope. I have left and right clicked, hit "l" over twenty times and still do not get a mission completed indication. I have moved to a another target and done the same thing all to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

What you need to do is click the camera icon on the task bar. Click each ship like 7-10 times.

I want to thank all of you particularly AVGWarhawk for you help in this matter. I have finally got it to work! However, here's what happened: I locked on a ship 830 yards away, camera icon came up, clicked away, negative results; tried the same thing on a ship 1510 yards away, same result. Just about when I was ready to give up, I clicked on a ship OVER 4000 yards away, and it worked--just one click was necessary. Game does not seem to recognize closer in targets. Again thanks for your help!

I think all you need to do is click the camera once on each ship in port. I noticed that the little icon in the lower right will flash each time you do, so I think it's accepting the pic. It would be nice if it just gave you feedback such as (1 of 4 ships photographed...)

I completed it by taking 4 photos of one ship and 2 of another.

I guess the rule of thumb is to keep clicking away till the all seeing one is satisfied.
