LuftWolf and Amizaur's Weapons and Sensors Database Mod v3.07---Now Available!!!
I want to thank you guys for bearing with me on all these versions, I really hope I've got a stable version now!
See OneShot's post below for the links to download LWAMI v3.07! Thanks again to OS for making the installers! Here is the LWAMI v3.07 update to the readme: Quote:
I hope I can too this time! :) Cheers, David |
Here they come ...
To unify the structure of the different packages and to make life easier for future possible patching (for small updates, bigger release of course will come as full versions) some minor things like folder names have been changed. This means that you cant install all three variations at the same time (but who does that anyway). Aside from that I recommend to uninstall the older LwAmi versions before installing any new version (this and subsequent ones), but then this is SOP for most Programs anyway. Make sure to deactivate the mod before uninstalling it!! As a disclaimer, since this issue has been brought up - this installer does not change any stuff in the registry, to my knowledge it doesnt even add anything. It only reads the path to the DW install directory. So far so good ... lets get down to the fun stuff now ... The latest LwAmi Mod comes again in three different flavours (Take note : the Graphics Update isn't optional - the Small Package as well as the Bare Bones version will only work if you had the v3.05 Graphics installed since they reference the new modells! If you didn't then it is recommended to download and install the Full Package): 1.) Full package weighting about 11MB inside a nice and easy to use installer. Here you have it all ... the Mod, the new modells (from v3.05) and a shiny new splash screen so you know you actually have the Mod turned on. Unlike with the v3.05 Mod the Graphics Update is only active as long as the Mod is active. Once you deactivate or even deinstall the mod you will again see the old modells. - Grab it here : LwAmi 3.07 - Full Package 2.) The smaller package without the modells but everything else in it - weighting around 4MB and of course inside an easy to use installer. - Grab it here : LwAmi 3.07 - Small Package 3.) And for those who like just the bare stuff ... only the mod, no Splash Screen but for the first time in an installer (including the JSGME Tool). This is only 400kB ... - Grab it here : LwAmi 3.07 - Bare Bones Cheers OS |
I have a question though, when you talk about unistalling the lwami mod (I have 3.05+ quick fix ) installed what happens to the database. ?
It has been modified with the new models when I installed lwami 3.05, do I have to replace it with the stock database and then run lwami mod 3.07 ? And what about the files in the graphics folder ? They have been modified when I installed the 3.05 mod. It was never said to do a backup of this folder. In end all I want to know is : can I install without expecting problems lwami 3.07 full package over my modded dw (lwami 3.05) ?;) |

Basically, all that needs to happen is the GFX files introduced in 3.05 to be in your GFX archive (if you installed the models manually in 3.05 they are there for good) and for the Database and Doctrine folders from 3.07 are in your DW directory, replacing whatever was there before. As long as having the mod enabled is all that you are concerned with, you can install the 3.07 packages over anything. Cheers, David |
Talk about confused:cry: I have JSGME installer with 3 LWAMI mods removed on left side:D
LWAMI V 305 ran the graphics installer V305 "' '' 'V307_Final " " V307_ Upgrade Did not install ver 306? Just download on desk top folder Full version V307 I guess I need to remove 305, 307 final 307 upgrade ? just delete the folders in Mods section JSGMI:/\\!! OK just read below. I could run the V307 full version but would not have to run the Graphics installer?? Would it hurt anything to run the Graphics installer again?? Would it just overwrite the files? Lane:D :D |
Just to confuse you even more, I'm going to need to you uninstall the version you just downloaded, and download it again.
OS and I had a miscue, and the wrong files got upload. THIS IS NOW FIXED. THESE ARE THE CORRECT FILES FOR REAL. Thank you, David |

All you need to do is be sure 1) the JSGME tool has disabled all mods 2) be sure you've uninstalled any other .exe installed versions of LWAMI. To find the uninstall, just look in your main DW folder, the icon with the red X. Then run the 3.07 FULL installer you just downed loaded above, and you are all set to go! Enjoy! Cheers, David PS This confusion is all entirely my fault. |
LW,
David, you are sure this time:lol:    Ok I got your any mod's remove with JSGME. from vanal 1.04 Will Look for those red icon's to remove.:D I made backup copys of of my Database and Doctrine files a long time ago and in safe place. One more Dumb Question:D
As of 3:02 EST Indiana time:D Were are the latest Ver 307 posted ?? Or should I wait a few days or weeks till the dust settles:D Just Kidding:D You Vets DW are so good finding bugs right away what a Beta Team. No Just Kidding LW and you guys are doing a great Job to make DW the greatest Sim. Like I said I never played DW that much so I would not see any Bugs Lane:D |
Installed the 3.07 full package with no problems.
Now I just want to be sure that the NIXIE is working properly (based on what you said earlier). Do I still have to go in the .ini and put the NIXIE/CM (I am not sure exactly how it callled) ro 100%? Thanks |
If you want the nixie to blow up those torps, yes.
|
Is the NIXIE will always blow up torps or sometimes will just deceived it?
I am now saying here that it will work all the time but I think sometimes the torp will pass under the NIXIE but will not always explode. May be I am wrong? So I am guessing everybody should have it to 100% then? And what is it call exactly in the .ini Thank you! |
