1984 Extended Campaign (Broken by 1.04b)
 
This mod was broken by the latest release and is inactive until further notice.

A longer, more varied campaign with new mission types, and more!
(Now includes version for Los Angeles Flt II/III VLS mod)

Mod feature list:
  • All new campaign that exists alongside the original campaigns.
  • Longer campaign, and NATO starts from a more disadvantageous position. Values have for some missions been tweaked to make them more or less common.
  • Strategic events which affect the progress of the war. It's mathematically possible to win or lose the war without the input of the player at all.
  • Much longer penalty for losing your sub (about 10 days - possible to lose the war while waiting for your new sub)
  • NATO shipping visible on the map. Convoys, fleets, and subs criss-cross the Atlantic and patrol into the Barents. These units will detect enemy ships and subs, but they won't fight.
  • Mobility Air Command C-141 Starlifter aircraft fly into and out of RAF Mildenhall
  • New maccomodateto accommodate the new map units
  • New mission type!
  • New pictures, art, and newspaper articles to support the new missions and strategic events.

Perfect!
On a side note....was attempting to stop an invasion once, and one of my contacts turned green and said 688 Los Angeles...

For a minute, I thought I had some help in that mission, but it shortly turned into something else (Soviet)
Should have listened to its sound signature, but didn't get to it in time.

Played my first two missions. The second mission was a Spetsnaz interception mission.

The mission brief didn't mention a location.. So it was a bit tricky to find which naval base the Russians were going to attack. Other then that, the seas are less empty. In the original campaign I feel like I'm the only sub in the area. (it would however explain why there's always a spare sub ready when they fish me out of the sea)

I had a bug with it.
I recieved a mission and there was no location on the description.
So I could not fulfill it.
