Many of us have come aross it, some wierd unfinished land sphere near Truk, I call it the beanstalk. Once a few jap planes attacking me hit it as I was beside it...

I found it around Truk indeed. It appears in the nav map but only if you zoom it all the way. I almost ran into that thing.

I'm back on SH4 at the moment, I must have a sniff around Truk and see this thing for myself. :haha:

Yea, I think I first found it by running into it and you're right you only see the lil land dot at full zoom, seems it's a lil to the NE of Truk as I recall.

That marks the site where Chuck Norris encountered a japanese task force as he was doing his backstrokes across the pacific. It is said that if you dive to the bottom of the sea, and listen on the hydrophone, you can hear the screams of thousands of IJN sailors.

Are! I see, you get with TMO.

I only play stock because I don't play much SH4, more into SH3 GWX.

Well on that note I'm going to push off out of that area and head for my patrol area.

ComSubPac to Pacific Fleet Captains:
ComSubPac staff does not approve of Captains using USN vessels for non-military operations. This includes visiting locations for sight-seeing, mountain climbing, scientific study, or religious activities. Furthermore, if any crewmen are electrocuted or otherwise injured, Captains could face disciplinary proceedings.
