Texans and Niners (my guess), two teams with no business there, (if you listened to pundits earlier in the year.) A defensive slugfest, It would be a blast!

NFL wouldn't like it though, those teams are not "pretty" enough.

From what I saw it wasn't Brees or the offense.

Brady v Manning.:hmmm:

The Texans are gunna asswhup Team Sanchez-Tebow.:har:
Place your predictions here.

As of now (second half) Alex Smith is 12-15 with 237 yards and 2 tds.

When did he learn to throw? Right pundits, cuz he sucks, right?
The Niners give you a new look every week, and are solid in every aspect.

Yet still vastly underrated, because of Alex Smith, and his supposed shortcomings, who is so far shutting the so called experts up.

I am with you Alex!

I respect you if no one else does!

nikimcbee 10-07-12 05:35 PM

Balmer @ KC, was that a baseball score?:haha:

soopaman2 10-07-12 05:43 PM

Update 31-3 49ers.

Alex Smith, the scrub, is 18/22 for 303 yards with 3 tds.

Alex also rushed for 24 of the SF 150 yards rushing.

Hey pundits? 4th in the power rankings ? Really?

I see 1980s greatness in this team.

You're right. They're good enough for #2 behind the Texans. :shucks:

I can go with that.

May I call a Texans vs Niner Bowl now, or is it too early?

Would bore the hell out of everyone but us, though. 9-6 type of game. maybe 10-7.:D

No one likes a defensive team, at least not advertisers.

Good luck.

soopaman2 10-07-12 06:10 PM

Our backup Colin Kaepernick is way better in the wildcat than Tebow ever will be, not nearly as hyped either.

RESPECT THE 49ERS!

We are coming for you NY Giants, next week.

The Giants looked disgusting this week. They do not look like the same team who won the super bowl last year. Even in victory, it looked disgusting, especially against a team with no wins.

I am sorry to gloat, after so many years of crap football, I finally have something to be happy about. Without a single "NFL premier" asskissing star on the team. No RG3, no Tom Brady, no Eli or Payton, but pure grit, great coaching, and brilliant execution.
This defines what we love about this sport, anyone has a chance. From the Bengals to the Patriots.

Looks like Rodgers has a new career with statefarm:har:.

You mean the discount double check? **championship belt gesture**

:D

45-3 Niners.

Second blowout in a row.

Those game stats are telling. Respect!

I rarely get to see the 49rs so I have a question. Randy Moss had 1 catch this week, zero catches last week. Is he even considered a starter at this point? I am just curious if he's being the same old Randy who still does not care about anything but his paycheck.

Things that are scarey:
Bears defense. They score enough to beat their opponents all by themselves. If the offense was as good as the "D" we'd all be talking about them.

New England getting a very good ground game. They were tough without one! Those two losses don't mean a thing.

The 49rs...both sides of the ball. They just smash you in the mouth and go about their business. That loss to Minny just might have made them better.

Green Bay. What happened to those guys?

The Texans and Atlanta I'm not convinced about yet, but they sure have my attention. Nobody in their divisions can compete with them, but their history of failing is not letting me get on their bandwagon.....yet.

The loss at Minny was a good thing, that way they got the stress of being undefeated out of the way, and can just play as they know how to do.

Randy Moss still draws double and even triple teams running deep, which opens up other receivers. Leave him uncovered and he is a threat.

Niners tend to use the tight ends alot (Delanie Walker, and Vernon Davis)

Moss going deep leaves the middle open for our big guys.

He is doing his job, and even if the stats do not show it, he is vastly helping the offense.

I just hope he does not become locker room poison like in the past, this team is very unified, and very selfless. Wins mean more to these guys than personal glory.
As long as Randy keeps it about the team he is ok, but at his age, and the fact no one else wanted him, I feel he will behave.

Atlanta does not convince me either, I want to see them play a real team.

The Texans do convince me, that defense is good. They will be tested in a couple of weeks against the Packers and Ravens.

All we can do is see. It is still early.

RickC Sniper 10-07-12 08:15 PM

Soops,

Thanks for the info on Moss. I'm glad he's doing what he's being asked to do.

Yeah the Pack are struggling. They look out of sync on both sides of the ball....
