It would help if my SH4 would bloody show up amazon uk have screwed up again. I paid for launch day delivery and now its going to be monday even tuesday before its delivered.
Moral of the story either buy from the store or from the manufacturer of the game not amazon cause there delivery stinks i think i am going to lie down now my head hurts:nope:

I think you will have some fun sinking ships in the Pacific in a few months when bugs will be hopefully sorted out and some good mods available. Remember how long it took for SH3 to become a decent game then a super sub sim. No need to rush I think...;)

Bull. Lots of people are playing it, and reporting that they're having a great time. Yes it needs work, but so did SH3 and SH4 is hardly "unplayable".

I suppose some people's standard for unplayable is variable. For some they're tired of SH3 or are so exited about the Pacific that they don't care about the bugs and see past them. Others would be less forgiving because SH3 is in fact brilliant and its hard to take a step down, albeit temporarily. Myself I don't tend to buy games very often so I'm not inclined to trade in all my food stamps for a game thats not going to feel as satisfying as SH3 for a another few months.

That and I need more RAM.:cry:

The way i see it is this we the community turn games like sh3 which at the begining was a nightmare into what it is now. So i would assume that ubi will have worked round some of the sh3 bugs but in the same sense created new ones in 4.

So in a indirect sense ubi have made another sh3 for us something to take to bits rebuild toy with and have a whine about and 2 years down the line look back and think and say we did that. I think even 2 years from now we will be playing sh3 and 4, christ i still play sh2 a game is what you make it or want to make it.

Every game has bad points and good points ubi just tend to have lots of bad points so we need to play the game for a month or 2 and think right this is what we need to do just like we did with 3. a

Also were part of a community here at subsim that has brought a lot of very friendly and talented people together which i for one think is a damm good thing. So either way wether one person says its a great game or another says its a crap buggy game we will eventually bend it to our will and way kinda like darth vader but in a good sense but with all the evil powers. So chill out gang enjoy and start taking notes.
