And how you guys manage sub emblems to work with LSH3, i just installed this http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/down...do=file&id=933 but only Sub Emblem i can apply in game is 7th flotilla icon.. but in my Sub emblems folder there is plenty more.. so whats the problem? :dead: |

So is it a known problem that hydrophone needle in hydrophone station and other instruments is stuck when loading a game in mid patrol? how could i fix it, Anyone?

I have the same issue, but it's not on every load. Maybe disabling mods one after another can narrow or down to something?

New utilities developed various utilities/tools for silent Hunter III 2014 in preparing for the upcoming SH3 Bigmod LSH3 V6 in the last few years, which facilitate the modding work in dealing with SH3. Because the release date (LSH3 V6 at the end of this month) unfortunately does not keep, two of these tools are accessible already today the SH3 player community. Both programs are extremely helpful and save time and Know-How in dealing with SH3 installations players and modders: "SH3 VERSION CHECK"... checked the SH3 version of installation and displays all information about the "sh3.exe". Thus, it is immediately obvious which UBI SH3 version is installed and is compatible or this version for 4GB-Patch or HSIE patch was already patched. SH3 VersionCheck was developed by LSH 2013 hermit. [Damn missed one word.. does not keep is the same as delayed I guess :( ] "SH3 MULTICOPY"...kopiert the existing SH3 installation complete and to redefine the "own game store files". Hey guys, I love the LSH3 mod and i am looking forward to the new version.

I'm playing LSH for a while now, and I really like it thus far. However, ater 4 patrols in the IIA I'm starting to get bored by the short range and low torpedo count, and I'd like to switch to the VII. I transferred to the Erprobungstelle, but only the II A and IX are available. Shouldn't the VII B be available from the start of the war?
Edit: Forgot to mention, my current in-game date is december 1st, 1939. Edit 2.0: Ok, I got it working. After restarting the game directly after transferring I could select the VIIB. I knew I had to restart the game, but I thought that had to be done AFTER switching u-boot type. Anyway, I have another question now. My first mission is to patrol grid AE79, but now that I got there I've used almost 1/3 of my fuel reserve, meaning I can't patrol for too long before I have to return to base. I'm cruising at 10 knots (wich was the historical cruising speed of the VIIB, according to u-boat.net). So now my question is: is this normal, or is there something wrong with my fuel consumption? |

I always cruise at 8 knots, at least in the type VII boats and as far as I can remember the type IX as well. Maybe not historically accurate, but experimenting with different speeds that one gave me the longest range. Try out different speeds using the navigators "maximum range at current speed" report, and you should find your optimal in no time. |
Thanks for the tip! It's been so long since I played SH3, I totally forgot it was possible to get the max range at current speed :oops:

is there any way i can play this mod with my resolution of 1920x1080p on my 40" widescreen t.v.:hmmm:

I was not able to do this without having the images stretched out and making everyone look fat. This is because of the only wide screen mods were all a different ratio than my screen (1920X1080)
So I was left with playing the mod in 4:3 ratio which gives me the black lines. In the past few months, Annherbe has made a 1920X1080 wide screen mod (perfect for me) but it works with GWX so that is what I'm running now. I too, liked the LSH mod, it was very nice, however, GWX is also a great mod and now with wide screen support, it is (IMHO) better for SH3. Jeff |
