Well it happened just like we all said it would. The replacement refs have clearly and directly altered the outcome of the game through their incompetence.

How long is the league going to let this sham go on?

Meanwhile, in bars across Cheezheadlandia, the fans react to the game:

The best part of this whole kerfuffle, I was just joking about the refs being pac-12 refs....But three of them really were (former) pac-12 refs, fired for bad oh-ficiating!:har::har::har::har::har::har::har::har:

The only thing that would have made this game any better, was if it had happened to Dallas.:haha: It would be priceless to to see Jerry Jones' face at the moment of that call.

Bad game changing calls have been around for some time. Regular refs, replacement refs....no matter. Bad calls will kill ya! Ask the Orioles...

Look at the bright side, it keeps the people at ESPN busy.

Saying I dislike the packers, and would have enjoyed their loss so much if..

But..
They got shafted.

"Some stuff just needs to be said. I have to do something that the NFL isn't going to do: I have to apologize to the fans. Our sport, the multimillion-dollar machine, is generated by people who pay good money to come watch us play. The product that is on the field is not being complemented by an appropriate set of officials. Games are getting out of control. Like I said the first week, I'm OK with replacement refs as long as they don't have a direct impact on the game. Obviously, last night, there was a direct impact on the game on multiple plays.
You can't say he was wrong, and he stayed classy about it.
(I always thought Rodgers was great, plus he is a Niner fan;))

You know all this ref lockout is about is an extra 400$ a game, and to be taken care of after a long service with a pension?

America used to pay for the best, now we just pay as little as possible.

But Goody works for the owners, who will maximize profits at all costs, even the leagues integrity.

A real NFL jersey for a fan to buy costs 250$ plus. It kinda puts in perspective the fleecing the fans are getting in all this.

Screw the players, it is us who is suffering, no matter what team you root for.

Maybe if profits are such a problem you can pay the players less?

But if greed is the problem, then they should get over it, and answer the call of the fans.

I want to go to the seachicken-viking game. I can't believe how much tickets are for Seattle!:shifty: (plus I want to take my kid, so x2 for price)

I feel your pain.

It's worth the price, it is a beautiful stadium. I got to see a 49er-chickens game there 4 years ago.
The fans are also great. No nasty comments over my niner jersey, and when they trashed my team, they were classy in victory.

Edit: I call them Chickens with love, divisional rival thing. Hated second only to the Raiders. ;)

I invite you to a Yankee or Knick game, if ya think they are bad.:O: Your out 100$ before you even buy a hot dog and sit down. Forget the 9$ beers!

Sports is starting to outprice the fan.

Our coach just got fined 50 large and had to apologize for grabbing that refs arm the other night.

***8220;impermissible physical contact with an official***8221;

Oops... :)

eddie 09-27-12 11:59 AM

They have settled the contract, the officials lockout is over.

Luckily we still have a bunch of these to help keep us warm at night :smug::smug:

It was not Mr. Bellicheks fault the ref was deaf.

Not a big Bill B fan myself, but that was horsecrap. Maybe the ref could have stood there like a man and took the berating, like a real ref would have. These are not college kids, with college coaches, millions of dollars at stake here..
(then again, we got Schiano, charging/blitzing victory formations like he's still at Rutgers)Tampa, seriously? You have not been good since Sapp played for you.

Ding dong the witch is dead...

Goodell woke up, and listened to the people who pay the bills (the fans)

The Green bay game brought this about.

MGM grand also refunded all bets on that Monday night game. Even Vegas thought it was crap. Tate admitted to commiting a penalty, quite a feat for a Seahawk!

Money talks, and bullstuff walks.

So when is Roger Goodell walking?

Yes, I am calling for his head. (figuratively)

nikimcbee 09-30-12 02:10 AM

Some good matchups for today.

Oak V Den

MN V Detroit

Who dat v cheezheadz- That could be an oh-fensive bloodbath:hmmm:.

Da Bearz v team satan.

soopaman2 09-30-12 02:18 AM

Jets and Niners.

You will hear cries for Tebow from the fans, once the poor Jets O-line gets a taste of what a real defense looks like.:D

And I dare them to line Sanchez up as a WR like in the past. He will get killed. Within 5 yards of scrimmage, hits are legal. He is not as big as Tebow, and no where near as tough.

Welcome to gladiator school, Jets.:)

Hope the lesson is long lasting.

I would love to see Patrick Willis sack Rex Ryan, lets see how big his grin is then.

My hero Patrick!
