Nice shot... but you'll be in trouble in a few moments...:yep:

That's a pretty shot. I really like that Flanker model. Too bad we only have the one.

From DWX 1.2(The other mod) :)

Yeah, RA is also an outstanding mod :yep:
I also play it, well... maybe crashing my Victor 2 against a Sturgeon is not what one would call "play" :O: http://img46.imageshack.us/img46/461...eonvictor2.png |
Dedicate this post to this awesome model of Seawolf in RA(DWX 1.2)
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3..._kudus/1-4.jpg Perhaps it's not that obvious in the picture but this is one gorgeous model. Especially in day time underwater shoot. |
Maybe this will work? A Victor 2 piggybacking a Cruise ship
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3..._kudus/PB2.jpg Piggybacking http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3..._kudus/PB3.jpg at shallow depth turning on the high frequency sonar http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3..._kudus/PB4.jpg Could this Cruise ship be the safe ticket out of Gibraltar and into the mediterranean?! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3..._kudus/PB5.jpg You're the skipper your call! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3..._kudus/PB6.jpg Cruise ship as seen on HF sonar(quite dark unfortunately) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v319/roh_kudus/HF.jpg |
That piggy back move is pretty cool.
Lol, I've been playing this game for a year now, and I'm still trying to be effective. :D I need a boot camp lol. |

This poor guy was hit twice. The first hit triggered a distress call, and surprisingly enough, I got there fast enough to see the second missile hit. Finding the Akula ended up being pretty easy, since I not only had the flaming datum, but also a direction. |

From DWX 1.3: View from the T-95F Bear http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3..._kudus/DWX.jpg View from T-95F Bear http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...kudus/DWX2.jpg Akula I http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...mp00302729.jpg The massive Typhoon http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...mp00122819.jpg . . . with a trailing Los Angeles http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...mp00111010.jpg |
The aftermath of the Arctic hide and seek game, the prey, a sunk renegade Typhoon class, victim of a pair of deadly spearfish torpedoes.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...mp01512851.jpg The hunter, the British Trafalgar class(manual everything except auto active intercept) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...mp01574212.jpg |
The Shvkal underwater rocket torpedo being launched from a Victor III attack submarine. Its intended prey is a British Oberon SSK tracked by 3 different sonar systems about 3 nautical miles away doing 17 knots according to TPK evaluation.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...02379413-1.jpg Turning to bearing . . . http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...02391948-2.jpg Super cavitation bubble is forming full speed ahead at more than 200 knots! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...02417734-3.jpg It turned out that the solution was very accurate(no surprise as it came from 3 different sonar systems) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...02454389-2.jpg The Shvkal might not puncture the Oberon steel hull but the magnetic detonation did the job just fine. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...02456504-1.jpg Secondary explosion seconds after the first blast. There was no chance for the Oberon to evade much less to survive a hit like this. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...02466699-1.jpg The hunter, Victor III SSN. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...00045201-1.jpg Now this begs the question what would happen if the Shvkal happened to be cruising far too deep or far too shallow rendering the magnetic detonator to miss the target magnetic signature?! How would depth in RL be included into consideration? There's rumors that the bow sonar is able to find direction thus depth estimation but I'd like to see this implemented in Sonalysts next game or DW successor. |
