Your posting method just seemed a little unprofessional. I don't use Twitter and the guy does not look like he actually works for Bohemia Interactive either. If something came straight from Bohemia Interactive I would feel that it really and truly is legit.Don't take it personally I do not trust anyone.

tip: google Jerryhopper+Arma

He's real close with BI, if you dont trust my word, ask Placebo (aka paul statham) at the BI forums.

According to the official web page anyone who purchased the full alpha can invite one friend and a person who purchased the Supporter Edition get 3 invites.
correct, And if people help out eachother here, theoretically there are enough keys for all subsim members :)

Don't worry about it I take your word for it.

People are trying to trade complete games in exchange for Lite keys on Steam.:nope:

Haven't done any CQB tests, but the AI overall seems to be much better.

Made a mission where a squad of OPFOR defended one of the smaller bases found on Stratis
against two squads of BLUFOR. I stopped watching about 15 minutes later,
as neither side had won at that point. When the attackers made contact,
started to move very carefully. Instead of rushing into the base, they held up
by the outer wall, and moved along the wall taking shots when they could to inside the base.

The OPFOR took cover immediately, not as a squad, but everyone scattered
around the base to find suitable cover to face towards the enemy. Later on,
when things calmed, they even started moving outside the base, flanking
the attackers. Again, not as a squad, but invidually. The automatic rifleman
managed to flank and kill 3 of the attackers, two with his primary weapon
and one with his sidearm as he ran out of ammo. :yeah:

So, overall, I'm liking what I'm seeing. The AI doesnt just rush from behind the
corner to be shot if it knows threat is nearby.

I'll try some CQB stuff later. :yep:

Here's a screenshot from another base attack test:

The fight had been over for a few minutes at this point, but the AI is still in
cover and on the lookout for other threats.

The two in the front dont look very covered :arrgh!:

Dowly 03-18-13 08:41 AM

The one on the left is moving. But the point is, in ArmA 2, they all would be standing
in the center of the base where I put the waypoint. In ArmA 3, it takes much longer
for the AI to switch to "safe" posture. Also, the fighting took place inside the
base, these guys are covering the rear after the base had been secured. :yep:

I managed to kill Crécy with that a few days ago. I'm sure that BI changed the keys like that on purpose and are now laughing maniacally at the chaos they've created.

Dowly 03-19-13 11:32 AM

Seems the AI has über-vision as usual. Played few missions with Crécy earlier and
we got our arses kicked. First because the AI can shoot off a fly's testicle from
200 meters on veteran and then because they can spot a crab on fly's testicle
from 200 meters, at night, even on regular. :-?

Also, the mission makers are all a-holes for not using respawns. *shakes fist*

Myeah, that was quite ridiculous... One enemy soldier one-shotted me from 100m while moving and I didn't even see him raise his weapon. :nope:

Actually, you can drop your rucksack and use it as a rest in ACE 2. :yep:
