I am speechless ! those destroyers are beautiful ! I love the work you've put into them. I wish we really could have them use their torpedo turrets as in rl because it was, at least on the IJN side, one of their most powerful weapons, and their doctrine was based on their use. wonderful as always Maddy :yeah: keltos |
now i am jealous:/ how and what program needed to create my own ships?

SoftImage-XFS Many Hour of training and practice. |
Just had a MK14 Torpedo go right through a Fubuki Destroyer at minimum depth setting using Contact/Influence.
May, 1, 1942 - Sea was dead calm with light fog. Visability 2300 yards. Fubuki Destroyer was sitting normal in water. I used external free cam to follow MK-14 torpedo and watched it go right through the hull without detonation or dud. Fire MK-10 Torpedo at minimum depth setting Contact/Influenct. Torpedo impacted at almost exact location and detonated. Almost all my Torpedo problems center on the MK-14 any date in game. Same things as described above happen with clean install and GFO MOD installed. Very intermittant issue. |

One reworked plane is also an content of the Update ! Nakajima Ki 84 : http://www.aotd-flottille.de//FOTRS/...r3/Ki84_01.jpg http://www.aotd-flottille.de//FOTRS/...r3/Ki84_02.jpg http://www.aotd-flottille.de//FOTRS/...r3/Ki84_03.jpg Regards Maddy |
Is there some date for the new version?
Iīm a bit anxious...:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: I have the same problem with the "ghost ship" Fubuki...Fishes pass trough...The new model looks fantastic! A question: I like the Vickers Interiors for american subs. In my installed FOTRS I have a pretty interior, but the commander cabin and radio room are darkened... I know the Vickers includes a U-Boat interior for the cabins, but I like they. Includes the new version the Vickers Interiors? Best regards! Fitzcarraldo :salute: |
Vickers Interior Radio Room
I think you need to set the Light Maps for the Radio Room. Without Light Maps the room is dark. Almost black.
Look at Materials for German Radio Room. Maybe the LM's are specified there. |
Hi Captains
in a few days i will release the german Version for SH4 V1.4 of the Update first. After this is out i have to translate this for SH4 V1.5 UBM and into english. The IJN Destroyer are ready now. All new IJN DDīs got now their Fleetnumber and their Kanji on the Hull. http://www.aotd-flottille.de//FOTRS/...atsukiRL01.jpg http://www.aotd-flottille.de//FOTRS/...atsuyuRL01.jpg You can change them by the Loadout. Regards Maddy |
These DD's looks really great:yeah:
BTW, what those "kanji" mean? What does it says? |
Way to go Max!
Beautiful lookin' boats, and Ki-84! Those will be some very nice additions to the FOTRS! Just curious is all, but do you plan on releasing all of these in mod update, or just individually as they are finnished? Thanks in advance! One thing that I haven't seen yet, is Japanese sailors, or pilots who would wear a Rising Sun headband like some would. I know it's a silly little detail, but would be cool to see from time to time. |
I'm not sure which looks sweeter. That tin can, or the water its sitting on. Well done.

A couple of questions. 1) The crew on the bridge of the sub seem to be transparent. I can see through them. Is this a known issue? Can it be fixed?
2) Perhaps it was a feature of Trigger Maru overhaul, but I seem to remember being able to move around with the mouse in the conning tower, command center and bridge and being able to interact with certain items/controls from there. Is this not an option in this mod? |

I use the camera.dat file from TMO 2, also. For the point 1, I havenīt that problem in FOTRS. Best regards and welcome aboard! Fitzcarraldo :salute: |
