Interesting................ With any friendly, either ship or plane, the TC never drops to 1. Not that I've seen anyways, but when close to bases, I continually reduce the TC level the closer I get.

Radar contacts will and sound contacts will set off the TC, friendly or enemy. It is meant to give you time to react just in case there may be an enemy lurking around.

I tried turning radar off and lowering SD antenna but that didn't stop the TC from dropping to 1. Btw, I'm outside a 10 mile radius when this TC drops. I only see circling AC and when they spawn and re-spawn the TC drops to 1. I also reduce TC as I approach a base, usually to 64, 32, or 16.

Where can I download this models?
When I installed the lates version of FotRS (1.3 EN) textures and warships remain the same.

Those are going to be in v2.0 that hopefully will be done soon. Just a little more patience, they'll get it done.

It's great to hear this.
By the way, last version has a bug - the keys for external view ("<" and ">") don't work...

P.S.
Is it possible, to play as commander of USS Nevada in your mod.?

Go to the Data\CFG Folder in your SH4 directory. Open the Commands.cfg file with notepad and make sure that the lines:

[Cmd50]
Name=Camera_on_next_unit
Ctxt=1
Key0=0xBE,,">" (if there is a ";" in front of the word Key, just remove the ";")

I don't use playable surface ships personally, so I can't answer your question. But I don't have anything to do with the creation of the mod. I'm just another waiting for it to be released.

But I don't make a habit of adding much over the mega mods, other than things like skins for subs and ships.

Best thing is to read what the mod makers recommend for the mods. If they don't say anything, you can try different things, but they may not work.

There are no radar consoles in CIC. :(

About BBs.
I like all kind of warships, but battleships are simple the best.
Nevada 1941 is my favourite (and Iowa class 1983-1990).
Maybe You can help me to make Nevada as playable BB or someone alse could?

Nowhere yet. It's not ready. The mod team leader posted above, and on the previous page that he had some final tweaking to do. The target time for release was July, but they didn't meet it.

Need help with CTD
 
Playing FOTRS of course. It's April '43 and I'm closing on Rabaul. As soon as I get a sonar contact in Rabaul harbor area within seconds I get a CTD. Happens too fast for me to pause so I could see the ship with external camera. I suspect I have a bad ship file in the Sea folder but how can I zero in on which one it is?

For FOTRS-V2.0 i reworked the shipment and the campaign.
It should be fixed with V2.0 !
Sorry that i could not help you in this moment, iam full in work with V2.0 and there is not enough time to take an look on this.
