Is V15G2 campatible with LSH3 and it's 4GB patch?
If yes, what should I do first; patch the game using 4 gb or using V15G2, before I run the game? Many thanks. |

Very important: You must first patch the SH3.exe with V15G2 Patch-Kit and then patch with 4GB Patch ! Best regards, Magic |
Thanks Magic,
Your answer is crucial to me. |

That's my order of installation:
1.Game 2. LSH3 (I passed GWX, want to try something different) 3. Enable preferable mods but mind PROFILES so the game won't necessarily crash. (I first enable V15G2) 4. Install SH3 Commander. 5. Apply SH3 Cmdr files provided for LSH3. 6. Configure SH3 Cmdr according to preference. The result: NO RESULT, the game doesn't even start. Question: what am I doing wrong? |

did you follow all the steps described in the Installation-manual: http://www.lsh3.com/dl/v5/LSH3_V5.1_Installation_EN.pdf Did you after activation of the MODS try a start without SH3-Commander? Regards Blueduck |
Time compression question.
I am having trouble with the time compression dropping to 1 when I'm just not close enough to thing's to cause it to do that, and it stay that way till the sub passes what ever is doing it. Like trying to use the canal impassible at 1 time compression it will run at 64 during the first straight. Any fix for this?
vista 64, 920i, 4850 X2 Just the living mod none of the extra mod's that came with it. |

this was a very helpful answer. But still playing GWX you miss the beautiful bridges!:salute: Quote:
You should be able to increase TC to 32 or 64 if once all of the stations are visible. Another chance would be to use SH3 Commander to change the actions of TC close to land objects. Regards Blueduck |

Also i read that Living was able to time compress up to 2048 like sh4 Mine will not even try to go to that setting, but it has the power to do it should be able to handle 4096. It really seems like the TC is still in it's original state??? I do like the mod it is much better than stock. |
It is because i am to close to shore but am using the plotted path this also happens at other places but has to be to close to shore like it's forcing me to slow down and correct the coarse or we are doomed to crash. I know their is the (data/cfg/main) with the TC but it won't let me change any of the settings??
Looks like this [TIME COMPRESSION] TimeStop=0 RealTime=1 LandProximity=64 CriticalDamage=1 CrewEfficiency=1 AirEnemyDetected=1 SoundEffects=2 CharacterAnim=4 EnemyDetected=8 RadioReport=8 Particles=8 PrayState=8 HunterState=32 3DRender=32 Maximum=4096 But it won't even try 2048 let alone 4096 and when i say it don't try it's not like you see it for a second like it does when it's stuck on 1 and you speed it up for a flash of a 2 then back to 1 i have never seen it display anything higher than the 1024. What have i done wrong? |
OK i managed to change all the numbers that had a 1 but it didn't change anything. It really seems that the game is still running in it's original TC state i have ran out of idea's to solve this. :06:
So i will be sailing all the way around and dealing with a few of these hick-ups along the way, it would take a full afternoon just to navigate one way of the channel. I am at a mission that want's a patrol in AN-81 and i still have a Type II A so not much distance so i think i few fuel stops along the way will have to do. :hmmm: |

Bingo that fixed it!!

And it looked like this [TIME COMPRESSION] TimeStop=0 RealTime=1 LandProximity=1 CriticalDamage=1 CrewEfficiency=1 AirEnemyDetected=1 SoundEffects=2 CharacterAnim=4 EnemyDetected=8 RadioReport=8 Particles=8 PrayState=8 HunterState=32 3DRender=32 Maximum=1024 Notice the land proximity at 1 instead of the modified's page that is a 64 Also note that the Maximum is still at 1024 instead of the 4096 Well after i made these changes to this file my little sub has warp speed now and no more being stuck on 1 near land. :yeah: Thank you Blueduck for your help. |
