Calling him a running QB is not crapping on him.
You have a large chip on your shoulder. Quit reading things that are not there. CK is having a great season and will be a great QB for as long as he remains healthy. I see a very bright and long career for him...as long as he stays healthy. .......now go ahead and misread and pick on that statement. |

Your mean! I am fighting back tears as I type.:wah: |
In all seriousness.
New England, San Fran, Ravens, Falcons fans, sound off. I am kinda passionate to the point of annoyance, sorry. Alot of folks here with "no horse in the race" where are the folks that have one? Predictions, I am interested in over unders, as I crapped the bed last week on my picks. Freaking Ravens! 38 points, really? I gotta get these things in like soon, and I am letting subsim pick them for me, Here goes. Sf at Atlanta. Atlanta getting 4 points. Over/under of 49 points. Over on the score, with SF winning despite points against. Will be a close game IMHO Baltimore at NE, Ravens getting 9 points, wow! With an over/under of 51.5 Kinda an ambitious line, and O/U IMHO. NE will win, despite the spread, but total points will go UNDER the 51.5 Disclaimer: Just the ramblings of an NFL fan, the above statement is not intended to encourage betting on any sport based on some asshat you read on the internets. Any losses you may incur upon betting your house on above facts will result in a hearty HA HA from me, and anyone else. |

As far as others with teams in, I think many are low key and will let there teams do the talking this weekend. |
I actually saw a stat, that since the AFL-NFL Merger, no same last 4 playoff teams have ever been the same. Go through the years, and look at the last 4 teams standing, they have never been the same since the merger.
NFL is one of the most dynamic sports. I am a Yankee fan, and am bored by them, oh ho hum they won again. Or in recent years, they crapped the bed again.:O: But football boils my blood. Even if my team was not in it, I can enjoy the game still, find my bad guy to root against. Hands down, Americas sport. Considering the lack of Hockey, baseball and Basketball threads. |

Denver's loss last Sunday was especially hard, as because of the great run they had they are losing coaches. Which players stay or go remains to be seen, but also having to replace offensive and defensive coordinators is tough. |

All that aside, you got Peyton Manning. If your GM is truly commited, he will get the tools needed. Maybe Revis who the Jets may not resign. Great DB. Denver was only a few pieces away. They made Tebow look like gold last year. It is my opinion that Denvers lack of running game makes them easy to defenses. Not trashing your boys now, just saying it makes it harder on Peyton if he has to carry the entire load. You guys got Manning, It could be worse. I would have killed for him, he almost was a Niner. But I like what we got, no harm, no foul, glad he is not in my division:O::haha: Now, like in any sport, it is up to the GM to bring in the right pieces. |
Lost #1 and then #2 running backs to injury. In the earlier meeting with Baltimore Denver had more than double their yards rushing. They certainly had a ground game before the injuries.
Tough to replace coaches. And commitment can only go as far as the salary cap. I really think this was their shot. They will win their division next year but will do it with a weaker team than this one. I salute Baltimore for getting the job done. They were the better team this time around. |
Bad lip reading the NFL:

Chip Kelly...
http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/88...delphia-eagles Let's see where this goes. Nick Fowles is a pocket passer, which makes him a poor fit for the type of offense that Kelly runs. I guess that means that we need yet another new quarterback. Should be an interesting off season. |
