Beating up a quarterback then having him drive for a TD on you is humiliating.

When will people respect him? Sure he isn't Brady pretty, or a Rodgers stat freak, but he makes nearly zero mistakes , is calm and confident in the pocket (unlike years past), and he is a true leader. Most importantly, he wins.

Cam Newton and RG3 get more respect than him, and they have done NOTHING.

I wondered where Suh was all night, then I saw the next day what they were doing.

They called it a wham block, and it resulted in him being flattened by one of our tight ends, after being allowed to run partially into the backfield.

Ballsy o-line scheme.
Edit:

Grats to your Rams Kaleun!

Faith!

I didn't like it personally, you are in my division ;)

But felt good for you.

One more thing..

The Patriots.

The Cards? (Us niner fans call them the Tards)

With a backup qb?

Seriously?

No thanks to you we got this overhyped crap in our division that we will have to knock down a peg. Thanks for the help, not.

I give up on watching this game. The scab refs are a complete sham. This is freaking brutal...a two hour first half. A PI call where no one was even touched. This is getting ridiculous.

And two penalties that were marked off 10 yards instead of 5 yards.

Incompetence that bad is intolerable. It did not decide the outcome Monday night, but it is so bad that it will decide a game very soon.

The original refs were not perfect and they blew plenty of judgement calls. These guys are just inept from a "knowing the basic rules" standpoint.

A very well written article outlining the farce. Read Mike Peireras article on Fox sports too (link is in the article I linked above)

I even saw a chop block call during the Niner game, that was was legal in NFL, but a flag in college. I can deal with a bad call from a good ref, but a bad call from a bad ref burns my backside!:/\\!! I can tolerate a bad call, but confusion between college and pro rules is inexcusable.

They cannot even get the rules right, plus the constant conferences, and late flags, it takes away from any case the NFL has on not paying these guys.

Owners pay for the best when they buy athletes, why can we not have the best zebras on the field too?

How much money does the NFL make again?

Goodell needs to go, I thought Selig was a bad sports commishioner... Jeez.

From what I've read, and only briefly so please correct me, one of the major issues is that the league wants to make some of the refs full time. But since they already have full time jobs, the ones they want to promote are not willing to do so, as they will be taking a major overall pay cut, and they don't want junior refs taking away the responsibilities they already have.

***8220;The key is the pension issue,***8221; (NFL Referees Association head Scott) Green told HuffPost, adding that the pensions have been around since the mid-1970s. ***8220;A lot of our guys have made life-career decisions based on assuming that pension would be there.***8221; [...]
Mike Arnold, the lawyer leading negotiations for the union, insists the referees were ***8220;all shocked***8221; by the pension proposal, given the league***8217;s sound financial footing. He said the union simply wanted the same pay raises and benefit packages laid out in its 2006 contract. According to Green, referees earn between $4,000 and $8,000 per game, depending on experience.
Arnold argued that the league***8217;s 121 referees shouldn***8217;t lose their defined benefit plans just because workers elsewhere are losing theirs. The union has told the league it would accept a grandfather system in which current refs keep their current plans and new hires get 401(k)s, but the owners aren***8217;t biting. Arnold also said the refs don***8217;t merely take issue with the type of account they***8217;d be switched to ***8212; the league***8217;s retirement contributions would be trimmed significantly, according to Arnold***8217;s calculations.
They only seek what we all seek when we give our lives and dedications to a job. To have our pensions honored, and to be able to live financially sound after being promised we would.

It is the gripe of most union members in these "union busting, benefit taking, leave-your sorry-ass-in-poverty to increase shareholder dividends days"

Every once in awhile, the man who bleeds and sweats for a living will push back.

My quote box got butchered, please read the article, thank you :)

soopaman2 09-23-12 01:36 PM

Yeah thanks for reminding me.:D
I'd be more worried about the skins right now, the Bengals?

At least the vikes have a good pass rush and secondary. But the Bengals, invincible RG3?

Whassgoinon?

Good job Vikes.

Just remember last years super bowl winner was 9-7. That should inspire all teams, not just my poor poor Niners, who I am sure got robbed somehow!

Just kidding great play Minnesota!

Thank you and see ya next week :)

Evidence the Mayan calendar is true:

http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/201209...ghts&tab=recap

Raiders won AND scored more than 14 points.

Onkel Neal 09-23-12 11:40 PM

OMG, you're right, and they did it in ol' Raider fashion...last second, and they defeated our most bitter rival, the Steelers!

Wow, maybe we only have a few months to live, has anyone realized the end of the world is going to take place during the playoffs... ? :timeout:

CaptainHaplo 09-23-12 11:44 PM

All I know is that Green Beans are now my favorite vegetables for the week!
