Thanx D.Kruger fore your work with the pictures !
Its given me inspirations. Some things i cant work out like the stern. Now the ship is to 95 % ready fore release. I have worke out the mastposition, the bridgedesign and the front of the deckhouse and the position of the stern pipes near the sternmast. The Problem with the flag already exist. I tryed to elevate the Y coardinates of the node but flag didnt apear. :damn: Here some new pictures : http://85.25.133.181/Files/mods/Madd...2/Gustwip1.jpg http://85.25.133.181/Files/mods/Madd...2/Gustwip2.jpg http://85.25.133.181/Files/mods/Madd...2/Gutswip5.jpg Some Details : http://85.25.133.181/Files/mods/Madd...2/Gustwip4.jpg I hope that someone can help me with the Flagproblem. Gustloff is 99 % ready for release
Hello Kaleun´s,
i have totaly reworked the Gustloff so this ship is nearly 99% to release. 1.) Stern reworked 2.) Deckhouse totally reworked 3.) Barcas totally reworked 4.) Positions and design of Pipes reworked Many thanx to D.Kruger for helping me to create this ship by posting nice pictures of an Gustloffmodell. Here the Pictures : http://85.25.133.181/Files/mods/Madd...offfertig1.jpg http://85.25.133.181/Files/mods/Madd...offfertig2.jpg http://85.25.133.181/Files/mods/Madd...offfertig3.jpg http://85.25.133.181/Files/mods/Madd...offfertig4.jpg http://85.25.133.181/Files/mods/Madd...offfertig5.jpg http://85.25.133.181/Files/mods/Madd...offfertig6.jpg I only have to overwork some Skindetails and some very small changes but i need help cause the problem with the flag already exist :damn: Maybee BBW can help me by hexediting this stuff ? :hmm: I hope it can be fixed. @ BBW I made to ships, one early war version in original KDF-Design and another late war version in Redcross-Design. I think thats the best way to handle this ship in editor ! Greets Maddy |
Send me the files will take a look Maddy
Maybe the way to go with the skins is use SH3Commander date folders to change them It should have a Red Cross skin up till 40 then a plain white\gey one as sat in Gotenhafen not moving Then goes back to a Red cross skin Jan 45 when it gets sunk Send me the files anyway and will look at the flag Of course you can use the second version as another liner  |

you got an mail with all files ! I hope you can fix it with minimal work  Thanx fore your offer mate  Greets Maddy |
Excellent - it's one of the most historically accurate liners built for the game so far. The awning frame that is below the forward superstructure looks wonderful and must have taken a long time.

Perfectly!!!    I waited for it, many thanks. |
@ D.Kruger
You will be surprised when i release this ship. I have worked out many small Details like the "Krähennest" at the Bowmast and Doors in the " Walkdown" at the Bow. The Funnel is overworked with the small Pipes in front of it. Many other Details will follow. Thanx for your impressions with pics from a modell mate, it helps me more then historical pictures. Oh many thanx BBW fore your work.
I think i have to visit your city to drink some beer with you.:D It was no problem to add the latest changes into your overworked Version. But was this ship really armed in Gotenhafen ? I didnt know ...... I think i release two different versions fore having the Gustloff and the Robert Ley in different designs in one Mission. Did anybody know where the Robert Ley was during the time the Gustloff stay´s in Gotenhafen and which Design the Robert Ley got in this time ? And my last question is : Could you explain me where the trouble with the flag got his roots ? I have to learn more about nodes and hexediting. Greets Maddy |

Greets Maddy[/quote] I would like to have both options for the Gustlof if possible with different skins. Kind regards:rock: |
Well no too sure about the arnament but easy to NULL out the entries
At least the nodes are in the right place now I imagine as sat in Gotenhafen for 4 and a half years the ship would have ben armed After all twas full of sleeping uboat trainees And from my readings at the many Gustloff sites the ship should only use a hospital skin till mid 40 when parked up After that the green band was painted over then later the ship painted navy grey |
