I like him. friendly, jovial... the sort of guy i would pop a top with.

he seemed like a genuine person... his interview here ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JktsWYikTWk ) is pretty much what its like to sit with him for 10 or 15 minutes.

say what you will about him as a president, i always liked him because i was able to sort of look at him as "just a guy"

Blair said the same thing that Bush was a man who would call a spade a spade. I mean, I ripped into the guy during his presidency and some of the things he did still make me shake my head, but his quick talk to the cameras at the G8 summit at Gleneagles as news broke of the 7/7 attacks, well, it made me glad to have the US as a friend and his words were genuinely heartfelt.

For my dues, I was talking to Joe Pasquale the other day, and I've also met Jay Kay and Jarvis Cocker whilst at work. :yep:

Maybe Obama should have offered him a cabinet post as a "reach across to the other side" gesture. Tax evasion is practically a prerequisite (though I doubt his evasion was nearly as large as, say, Geithner's).

Evading Vietnam seems to be more in line w/the Republican list of prerequisites.

Early 09 I bumped into Beyonce in Greensboro NC. She stopped by a local mall and came through the basement mall office we were remodeling. I think she had a concert that night at the nearby coliseum. She had another rapper with her, can't recall his name. I didn't even know who she was. I got about 4ft from her as she leaned on the wall seemingly bored. I was then pushed back by her BG's and she went on. They caught one of my workers taking pictures with his phone and made mall security delete the pictures.

She was rather hot, even though I had no clue who she was.
