You must have a different version of GWX than me. Not only are the graphics superior*, but it is displaying a GWX watermark of some sort.
I agree, the deck gun is awesome fun. PEW PEW!! KAAAPOWW!!!!! KERBLEWIE!!! *I kid. Your graphical enhancements are excellent, GWX team. |
Hey, I just don't like fighting something that cann't fight back it goes against my Morals

Just how does one eliminate the deckgun? I have sh3 Commander but I do not see an option for eliminating it. Since historically the uboats generally did not have them beginning June 1943, I don't want em beginning that date. I'm just anal that way..:DL Thanks!

I believe, just going by memory, if you click on your U-boat number in SH3 commander, 'remove deckgun' shows up on the drop down list.
As people have said, tactically there's no point in scrapping the deck gun, but if you want to remove it to get the full historical experience then by all means go ahead. Nothing is stopping you from playing your game your way  |
Weiss Pinguin I think it might be your Uboat type rather than number

I left port in June 43 after making some upgrades to my boat late April. I guess they delayed me in port for some time as I left port early June. The current time in my patrol is now July and the "Husky" landings at Sicily are now underway. BdU has sent several orders to Med boats to attack the landing operations.
I removed my deck gun. The foredeck looks eerily empty now. I am pretending that the extra space made available from ammo storage is now full of mouldy bread and fat, juicy brats, thus enabling me to stay at sea longer than normal. Fantasy is a large part in playing this sim. :D |
