Why is it I cannot get into SH4? it looks euh.. plastic.. why is SH3 looking so much better, the riding on the waves and with GWX3 its a 'perfect' combo.

I cant grow into Sh4.. and am afraid for SH5 to be the same.

Sh3 has something sinister, something strange.. if one turn his monitor to B&W its like an old movie!

Any thoughts why ?

I love SHIII, I installed SHIV over a half dozen times, tried very hard to like it, but I don't, the main 3 problems I can't get around is:
1) The sea, too much like jello, some improvements made but still don't like, especially in the morning/evening, too black!
2) The U-boat buoyancy, in rough weather the boat almost flies!
3) The crew in rough seas keeps appearing/disappearing!
This is what shows in the navigation academy, let alone the campaign, I was hoping for GWX4 but didn't come since SHV was so close, now that that is a flop especially with the DRM for SP mode, I kinda hope the GWX team might have another go!:yep: As always my opinion only!:03:

well i started off learning sh4 and love it, so I went out and bought sh3 on a whim due in part to all of the chatter about it. I've got both versions modded to the hilt but as it stands right now, the win goes to sh4. Just my opinion AND I have spent a few hundred hours in sh4 vs about 20 in sh3. BOTH are good!:salute:
