Extraction of the as the dragon slumbers!
The Seawolf extracts a special forces team in the shallows of the Chinese Coast in the Taiwan Strait. After this dangerous mission, I plan to have my head examined. But for now, the hulls of four PRC subs lie in the Strait as part of our tasking to engage Chinese sub force assets with extreme prejudice.

A stealthy shot is set up on a Chinese SSBN using wire guide wake homers. The SSBN cavitating and running on the surface will never hear the fish running up its baffles and if they might, then return fire will be misdirected anyway.
The first shot shows the attack approach and plot. The second shot shows the fish right before impact. http://mywebpages.comcast.net/marksh...mages/xia1.jpg http://mywebpages.comcast.net/marksh...mages/xia2.jpg |

I need a few images of a 688(I) class boat for a story in the upcoming Subsim Almanac. If anyone wants to post some here, it will be appreciated. If possible, the image should not have the mini-map showing. Something like this http://i110.photobucket.com/albums/n...ning_comes.jpg If you have an artist touch and want to include a duplicate with filter or effects, cool. thanks Neal |

Close trail done the honest way using just passive sphere and HF sonar. Of course, don't try this with the enemy (this is a French ally). And a couple of shots for the National Geographic. :)
