Our boys did good enough to beat Jacksonville but it wasn't pretty.

Winning pretty almost never matters. Only in movies. I see the Faders are still rubbish.:nope:

So Neal, If the Vikes win today, I think you have to watch Prince's "Purple Rain" and wear a purple #28 jersey all week at school.:hmm2::haha:

Since the Texans had Petersen bottled up all day (about the only thing they could do right) the bet shouldn't stand even though they lost. :arrgh!:

*blushes in embarassment*

That QB for Seattle is pretty good. Slippery like a weasel, the new trend it seems, fast quarterbacks.

Hey at least I am not the giants! My team is in no matter what happens the rest of the season.

Plus my niners (faithful!), they gave me a a thrill this season, and I highly enjoyed it, I would like them to win the Super Bowl, but the realist in me is telling me this is New England or Denvers years. They sucked for so long, laughed at, joked about, now they are seen as dangerous.

The Giants need someone to build them a Rube Goldberg device to get in.

They have to win.
Viking and Bears have to lose.

:haha::haha::har::har::haha::haha:

(I feel the same way about the Giants, as most people in the country feel about the NY Yankees.)

Heya "champs". Tom Brady is getting another ring, your washing out last week of the season!
:haha::haha::haha:

My Niners wore panties for last nite. I need to make myself feel better by smashing the Giants.
:O:

I am sure no one minds.

And even now, no one has got it better than us!

Nooooobody!

Yeah, Texans looked prime to go one and out.

Meanwhile, I'm jumping ship to the Broncos! :smug:

AVGWarhawk 12-31-12 08:22 AM

Ravens are a one and out as well IMO. Like the old saying, "There is always next year."

Dirty bird. :stare:

Best news all season:

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...coach/related/

Two down, one to go and then I can put my Eagles sig up next season.

AVGWarhawk 12-31-12 02:02 PM

Well, someone had to take the blame. It is usually the coach. Do the Eagles have any prospects?

eddie 12-31-12 03:01 PM

A whole bunch of coaches are looking for work now!

Good bye old Norm I actually feel sorry for him, but I saw him smiling yesterday after the Chargers beat Oakland 24-21 :yep:

A Busy Day for N.F.L. Coach Firings

http://www.nytimes.com/2013/01/01/sp...ches.html?_r=0

Quote:

The N.F.L. coaches Andy Reid of the Philadelphia Eagles, Pat Shurmur of the Cleveland Browns, Romeo Crennel of the Kansas City Chiefs, Norv Turner of the San Diego Chargers and Chan Gailey of the Buffalo Bills were dismissed on Monday by their teams after losing seasons, and Lovie Smith of the Chicago Bears was also fired, after his team finished 10-6 but did not make the playoffs.

The Jets decided to keep their coach, Rex Ryan, but fired General Manager Mike Tannenbaum. The Browns made it a clean sweep, dismissing General Manager Tom Heckert along with Shurmur. Reid was the longest tenured of the group, let go after 14 seasons with the Eagles.
