Oh this is not nice here, the AC is struggling to cope with the heat, not even 10:00 am and it is 40, going for a top of 45 here today!!
Keeping fingers crossed there are no fires today, and would you believe, I have a cold!!

Incredible :o

Reece 12-18-19 11:34 PM

Currently 44.6 here!!

Catfish 12-19-19 05:29 AM

Fake News!
Also 44,6 degrees Fahrenheit are 7 degrees Celsius, this is not "warm" at all. :O:

Seriously, i hope temperature is not rising more, this must be unbearable already. Hope AC and air conditioners ae up to it :o
All the best.

Hey reece, sounds like you got a right dork of a Prime Minister taking his holiday abroad while Australia burns.

How you holding up?

Reece 12-19-19 05:56 PM

Our poor freezer is struggling to cope, took out some ice-cream and more like a smoothie!! Hopefully the meat etc is ok.
Going for 46 today, currently 39 (9:20am), very windy and thick dust, not very nice at all.
The prime minister is out on a date with Jeremy I think. :hmmm::oops:

I would
Not do any hard work
Stay as much as possible in the shadow
Drink as much water as possible-When thirsty
Now when work is off lets spend all day with friends on subsim and play games.

Have just heard some sad news

Two firefighters has lost their life in fighting the fire.

Yes that was in the NSW fires, very bad over there, thankfully not so bad here in S.A. :hmmm:
Very sad when volunteers are killed, especially through burns, though in this case the truck overturned so may have been crushed, not sure, my prayers to their loved ones.
