Far as I understand it, the captain did not operate the machine to begin with, so my forgetting it doesn't equate to any accidental action that I would be responsible for as captain...

In the beginning i think that its in all fairness to "be on the job training" as one so elegantly put it further up the thread. I surely did that during my first couple of "boats" with SH-4.
But i came to the point where i looked over my shoulder to see if any one would catch me in reloading. So i decided to constrain my self and start writing a log. Now my actions are on paper with ink and can not be undone/redone, and i cus my self for every bad mistake and torpedo i miss. But i have twize the fun now. I will even claim that i got a lot better from that point, as im now much much more careful both in approach and fire-solution set-ups etc. When you reach that point, do not hessitate to change over your style - that is my point of view. :ping: |
