I agree. Those droplets on camera should disappear. That camera is godlike, is not part of the sim. Therefore, the normal physics do not apply. Why should it be affected by water ?

I just hope that the dev team will not listen to your complaint. I love that feature. Take a bath, put your head in the water and submerge...if you can see properly in the next 3-4 sec, they should remove it. If not, it's part of the simulation.
If they agree with your complaint, i just hope that they will add an off-on option for it so i can still have it. But between you and me guys, if i had to choose between the chrono bug and that blurry effect to be fix, i would choose the chrono...what do you think? There's a lot to be fix right now so i wouldn't other about those small details right now. Like a sage guy said previously, close your eyes when you're submerging and that will do the trick...for now...:D |
I agree, it gets irritating after a bit. I can live with it, though. I live with a lot of irritating things in my life, this is just one more. But this "feature" is more pretentious than immersive and is little more than graphics candy.
It's okay for the periscope lens, though. |
I love that feature, feels like you're behind a real camera coming out of the water, cool :)

Then, let's pray for an option to turn it off and on.

I particularily hate the initial range on the < > locked on ship external views. I am forced to immediately press Shift up Arrow so I can actually see the ship in any detail. The low ceiling on the external free camera is another camera.dat irritation. |
