It still seems a bit random when my crew spots ships but at least they're not getting up close and personal at 1500m! Now for happy hunting off the US east coast...

So if I use Commander the NYGM Version 2.01 text won't show up?

Hey Teddy. Im still not even receiving a Aircraft Spotted, all i hear is the explosion and propeller, but the watch crew just ignores it. grrrrr. Might just have to do a fresh install.

i'm currently running NYGM 2 and have had no problems with the crew spotting Aircraft be it day or night, they also always spot the airplane well outside flak gun
engagement range (not sure what max range is on the 37mm) but if i have the crews on deck and say fire at will i always get an officer reporting aircraft out of range, which is great as it means the sneaky planes havent got close enough to blow me up before i even spot em :D

Note. i'm currently only using the NYGM 2 mod and a few of those that DTB packaged with the download.

Well i have more trouble than before. Playin' the W@W Air Attack Mission, and i gotta say my crew sucks! The plane was above us and dropped the first bomb, but they didn't see a bloody thing!:shifty:
It was on the second run of the plane that my WOI shouted ; Flugzeug gesichtet!:damn:
Bloody sod!

hehehehe... by the time the plane is in range i'm either crash diving or the flak gunners have shot the pesky plane down... damn fine shots :up:

How do you install this updates? is it a mod or an updates? if it is an updates would someone show me how to install this. I see a data folder with 2 subfolder Library and menu?

Just paste the new folder over old one and select yes if asked to overwrite!:hmm:

I am testing in game and so far, with limited occurances as I am inducing them, it seems to be OK...

I will continue to look into this.

Teddy here's another thing;

Played a Career mid 44' VIIC/41 Was heavy sea and storm; actually everything was heavy! The bad weather in person.
Suddenly the game drops out of TC.
And the IWO shouts his line about bein' attacked!
I go to the bridge and all i see is nothing. Few minutes later i hear; mixed under the thunder, wind and sea chaos the sound of a plane. And moments later there are bullets rainin' in the water beside us!:hmm:
Somethimes my Watch-crew just surprises me!:doh:

So far my crews are performing perfectly.. unfortunately the DDs seem to have super human crews :o and yes i know they are better but hey these find me 100% of the time.

i've sat at 100m 0 speed and gently sinking (thanks to the anti humming bird effect) 3 destroyers merrily dropping DCs all over the place some 4k+ away and even though i'm completely silent and they are dropping DC's all over the place they pick me up! how with all that noise.. distance and me being super quiet do they find my ass?

if anybody says passive i'm gonna :damn: ya...

Just my luck being super good with the watch crews and spotting stuff... looks like the boot is on the other foot now...
