do you have 1.4b patch installed because i havent seen that since 1.2

Most information I've heard stated they had orders to keep going, so I'd assume they'd have done that. Panic is always a factor though, I'd think.

One early war convoy panicked and scattered after a U-boat attack, but most maintained formation. The kind of disarray you see with these convoys is quite different from the semi-orderly scatterings of convoys like SC-26 and PQ-17. It's just faulty AI, not a tactic.

One patrol I was near grid AM53 ( west side of it ) ... got a contact report and so submerged and waited ... Really strange ... here comes about 15 or 20 merchants all in a single file with only a Flower corvet in the lead ...

I waited to see what was all in the convoy , 1 nice ocean liner ( fully decked out with guns every where on it decks ) , a couple C2's and the rest small merchants and costal merchants .....

I must have been sitting in the right spot because as I watched and was calibrating my torpedo's they broke apart from the single file line and formed up 3 rows ......

I only took out the fat one :cool:

Yes, I have the 1.4b patch but did not have much convoy encounters prior to installing it... still wondering; is this strange behavoir going to be the norm from here on out?
