Fitzcarraldo :salute:

I haven't had time to do my research homework... but

SH5 - TWoS and vdr1981
SH4 - FotRSU and s7rikeback
SH3 - GWX - I am still a fanboy, kudos to the team, these many years later - still

I have not had the time to check-out LSH-2020 yet. Kudos to THEBERBSTER for doing the tutorials, in spite of life kicking him in the teeth. I also have not had enough time to do much else... I'm rather boring in my old age - like some of us, eh ak?

Funniest man alive - Aktungbby but he does have Jimbuna helping him, feeding him lines, sometimes having to lead him to the dinner table and put the fork in his hand...

Edit: Found one example - Pervitin It

The man with the mostest: Eichhörnchen (our resident little squirrel) for his Whac-A-Squirrel holiday competitions. Always fun, especially after we get "the beast" banned... :har: - just kidding the beast. We have a squirrel ninja team already enroute to his parent's basement to deal with the situation.

I have more, somewhere in the grey matter, but someone kept hitting me over the head with a mallet... :salute:

This really is such a vibrant community, where does one start ?

How about another nomination for JimBuna For Moderator of the year as Aktung and Fitzcarraldo have already introduced. Jim's even hand and the respect he engenders keeps things on an even keel and always in the right direction.

@ Eichornchen. With Covid, self distancing and Isolation, Eichornchen keeps things loose in Subsim, adding the fun factor.

BlackSwan40 along with Peter " TheBerbster as being most helpful. I have had both of them personally help me solve issues with SH3, especially BlackSwan who went out of his way to help. I know they both have helped others as well.

Kapitan for his continual Stories and details of his visits to ship and site of interest like Chernobyl. Kapitan also assists with anything regarding technical question that comes up. No one does better research here.

How about those connected with LSH2000 ? derstosstrupp has mentioned this as well. SH3 was introduced in 2005 and these are the people that have kept this game and franchise up to date. BlackSwan40 has been working in this area and endeavor as well.

There are many more deserving and I haven't done the research but these people spring to mind right now.

There are 4 supermods of the year:

LSH3 2020 ---->Now with some discussion about the legit of the modded game.
FOTRSU
Dark Waters
TWoS.

Happy New Year!

^ Thanks for the clarification, Fitz. :Kaleun_Thumbs_Up: I wasn't aware of the rest of them except for FOTRSU and LSH2000 and of course, GWX. That makes it even harder. With all the work these respective teams have put in, they all deserve recognition and the accolades that go with that.
Happy New Years Fitz and all the best in the New Year to you and yours. :Kaleun_Salute:
Cheers

Difficult for me when it comes to modding, while all those who develop and help sure deserve at least mentioning, if not praise, i am totally out of the scene the last two years, not much time for simming and no overview of what was happening. Not enough time for playing!

Not a complete list in any regard, neither by contributions named nor by all themes that came up ths year..
Eisenwurst, for musical contributions, and lot of other things!
Kapitan for submarine and naval themes contributions,
Eichhörnchen for being an active and nice member, and artist work posted,
Commander Wallace for all his posts, and musical contributions,
Aktungbby for funny and witty remarks and knowledge provided,
Rockstar for music, posts, and making me think about my own sanity,
Vienna, obvious
Platapus, ^ same
Jim Buna for level-headed and forgiving moderating, musical content, and posting C. updates
Sailor Steve, who still finds the time despite health issues,
Neal who had the idea and founded this great site

and a lot more that i cannot remember, but a lot of posts made me happy to read them or were/are eye-openers in a lot of ways.

Al lot of those things also fit for others, sorry i did not mention every single one, this is ouf course my fault.
Generally I like this whole community, and
(OT) wish all of you a good or better year in 2021
