So far I have had no stock SH III crashes.

Only with mods.

But with GWX 3 Mods alone and with other mods too.

I have just done another (re)install to my D drive.

as was stated earlier by HW3, the amazon download that I am using is patched to 1.4.

I'm doing another re-install of GWX right now, then adding any mods one by one

well following the read me on GWX Wilhelmshaven MOD, after getting my re-install running with a minor assortment of the mods that come with GWX (not the Wilhelmshaven mod) yet, I installed Wilhelmshaven MOD first then the standard GWX mods that interest me.

And it crashed.

Well that narrows it down nicely. But, still weird.

I know I was able to use Willemshaven with a bunch of other GWX mods, and a bunch of other mods as well, and I'm sure many, many other people have too.

Maybe try it with just the Willemshaven mod? If that crashes, then if I were you I'd just play without that mod. Kiel has better taverns anyway.

giving up on Wilhelmshaven......which is a bummer. But I have it working with more mods at this point.

Closer to getting back to what I would LIKE to be running.

Just going to take some patience I guess. :cool:

You might try a older version of the Wilhelmshaven mod, like v6 maybe, and see if that helps.

There is no longer one in the downloads section

Maybe on Jimbuna's site or on Maik's site?

Edit: Maik's site under BigBoyWooly has V5 & v6 of the mod as well as v7.

well I am back up and running and in the midst of a patrol in Oct 1939.

I haven't been able to get
Waterstream Mod
Torpedo Damage mod
or any of the
GWX Wilhelmshaven mods either v 7 or 5 working..but I am making progress.
