Unfortunately some folders will be locked, unless you can succesfully change permissions. On the plus side disabling UAC will get rid of that damn "Are you sure you want to blah blah" nag. If you need the nowhow just hoot.

Why do you think M$ came up with UAC? To prevent unknown or unverifiable applications or malware from taking over your operating system. And now you install a program to do it for you, allowing it to gain administrative permissions or 'carte blanche', even if the solution is already available built in. (check my previous post)

Windows knows best. Besides I'm never really sure, and just because I clicked the button to initiate the action should in no wise by interpreted as logical intent. Best to double check everything. That way I get the opportunity to second guess myself and indulge my split personality. :D :O:
