Will wait for the mod :-)
I certainly did something wrong installing these mods since i get CTD all the time when destroyer search for my sub.

I'm sure a lot of beginners will be very grateful for this all in one mod.

Thank you very much in advance! :-)

I'm an SH4 captain moving to SH5 soon (it's in the post now) so something like this would be an absolute godsend! Looking forward to seeing the results - the huge amount of mods is a little scary, even though I've modded SH4 with no problems. Was really hoping for another Trigger Maru Overhauled & RSRDC ;)

I am confused , doesnt the mega mod do what you want ?

It might do (assuming you're talking about MO?), but the thread doesn't list what's in the mod on the front page, only the changes since the last version.

This makes it difficult to know what else to download without first downloading the whole megamod and checking the full patch notes.

The other problem is that mod information is so scattered. There are so many that I'd hardly know where to start, and while the popular mods thread is useful, I see quite a few in people's lists that aren't on there.

Coming from SH4, I went straight for TMO & RSRDC, knowing exactly what I would be getting. I then added a couple of smaller fixes on top and that was enough. With SH5, it seems that not only do I need the megamod, but a lot more individual mods (which may or may not conflict, documentation on what works with what seems a little spotty given the number of 'why isn't this working' posts), some of which may be in the popular thread, others which may be elsewhere, might need environment mods but again I don't know if they're already in MO.... etc.

It's just a lot to take in, even for someone with plenty of experience with JSGME. TMO takes a huge range of individual mods and packages them together with no conflicts, adds environmental mods etc... I just hoped someone had done something similar with SH5. As it's not happened yet, fingers crossed that one day soon it will :)

hi

having a problem with lite campaign, it dont seem to be working, if poss could someone message me with some pointers, installed with the mod enabler, gme is in the sh5 main folder, all mods are in the folder created by it, activated in port before mission starts, just dont seem to be working, i have no idea lol

THE_MASK 07-11-11 11:40 PM

A new career is needed , not just install in port .

Hey !!! Remember this was a pack for newbies. How about a Mod pack that is about all the bug fixes.

That way a new player to SH5 can get the feel of the game and gain a feel for it.

All in one package and simple jsgme install.

I think it would be a great idea if ppl would attach their Mod List on their signature like Sober has done.

I dont have one yet as i am new but have spent hrs & hrs looking for mods, updates, descriptions and versions. Does this supersede this...you dont need itif u have this....the Megamod addresses that.
Very confusing for a beginner.
