You're kidding, if they were gonna wait for a all woman crew to man a nuclear sub, would never happen.

The women officers are in training now and will go on duty next year.

The CNN report.

Speaking of which, now I'm just a little curious, speculating of course in the name of science-like. I wonder what submarines would be shaped like if women ruled the world.http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/smiley-music037.gif

Well. considering these women that usually do these sort of thing, we know for sure one thing it won't be shaped like :03:

Here is the link to COMSUBPAC. http://www.csp.navy.mil/

You'll find there a audio from some the Admiral explaining women on subs. He basically says subs are technical and twice as many women are getting technical degrees than men. So it's the same old same old...even in subs, it appears women are smarter than men.

Almost funny, he explains how women will be treated the exact same way as men, then states they're placing women on the Ohio class subs because they have the extra space for seperate bunks, bascially a few women will get a nice bunkroom just for 3 max women per sub and the men still stay in quarters.

It's ashame that men can no longer have anything for themselves. I plan on starting a men's only club in my neighborhood as soon as my wife gives me permission.

Women will always get the better treatment compared to men. Equality in the Navy is a double standard as evidenced by the separate physical standards. Until the day the Navy creates one standard I will always look down upon female sailors. Actually if our society were serious about equality there wouldn't be a boys basketball and a girls basketball team in high schools.
