In two hours? Give him a couple of days, at least.:sunny:

No, but even dedicated modders have real lives. And once he's started it can be hard to find the problem. And it may turn out that he didn't accidentally adjust the files in question, and the problem is at your end.
Or not.:sunny: |
RL includes taking my kids to the park and putting them to bed, and you're continuing to be rude from the other thread.
If you've already found the fault can you please tell me which file and which line I've made the mistake in. |
You're wasting my time with a problem that I don't believe is there.
Bye. |

But you don't need to be rude to people who are actually trying to help. I've posted problems I was having and waited a week or more for an answer, and sometimes the answer was that I was wrong. You really need to play nice. |
Steve I'm afraid it's a lost cause and you're wasting your time. Manners unfortunately are lacking here.
Live and let live I say. Thankfully the community as a whole is up to the standards of reasonable courtesy, so we can ignore this particular incident. WB take your time mate and if you feel it is worth looking at it go for it. Either way it is not a game-killer and doesn't destroy the fun and the aim of your mod. |
Given Brunos track record I think he was just trying to wind me up. He's also been keelhauled.
BTW, the lines that he referred to are 4100 to 4103 in en_menu. Stock SH3 referred to it as 'fog' with the values None, Light, Medium and Heavy but GWX changed it to 'visibility' Unlimited, Moderate, Reduced and Poor. AFAIK there's never been a 'km' value unless it comes from one of the other supermods. The SH3 Commander version has exactly the same files as the SH3 version just in a slightly different format and it goes nowhere near those lines in the files. If anyone is having any problems I'm more than happy to fix them but in the meantime I'm just enjoying cruising Der Kanal in my VIIA. |
