More land is devoted to production of beer and other alcoholic drinks
than to bio-fuel.
And then there is game land, luxury crops, wildlife preserves, forestries etc. etc.

An then there is the effect bio-fuel has on oil prices to counter and food rise.

He's just hating on biofuel, like he always does. Wonder if he's cooked up any new global warming conspiracies.:nope:

I think the US has enough land set aside for feeding our population. We don't need to be plowing under more of it.

In Soviet Russia, food prices raise YOU!

I was just thinking, "if russia defends Iran we (meaning the USA) may all have to move to Canada to grow our food"

I think this falls under the heading of "DUHHH!".

Having traveled to Hawaii in the past, it has always been more expensive, and this goes back to 1989. The thing about Hawaii is, its an island. An island that imports most of the food consumed by the populance. Back in 1989, a $10 meal at a Sizzler in PA was a $17 dollar meal in Hawaii.

If you really want to compare how food prices have climbed. Just look at what you're paying now vs. what you were paying then.
