Is "costed" like the DC version "accosted"?

"costed" makes perfect logical sense !

The government is well known for coming up with its own word usages and costed is one of the better ones.

I have even been in meetings where the word costed is used in the future sense

This will be costed next quarter. :damn: :damn: :damn:

This reminds me of a favorite newspaper comic strip from a couple of years ago. The strip is called Frazz, and the comic went like this:

Teacher says "I expect you to turn in a report entitled 'How I spent my summer vacation.'"

Little boy turns to the girl next to him and whispers "She said 'entitled'. What she meant was 'titled'."

Little girl raises her hand and points to the boy.

In the last panel the boy is sitting in detention after school, and the janitor asks "What did you do this time?" The boy replies "I was entattled."

Wow. If Hillary Clinton can do that poorly and unjustly with her personal finances can you imagine what she could do for America? We'd have to sell our country back to England.

Well, Thomas Jefferson advocated absolute financial management and no national debt for the country, but he himself died more than $100,000 in debt.

Not that I'm comparing them at all; I'm just sayin'...

Yeah Jefferson seemed to have difficulty now and then living up the ideals he espoused in others.

Brilliant! Then we will substitute America for France and play a giant game of keep-away with the Germans! Centuries of fun!

No, no, not necessarily the wrong word. I can see how you would apply it to Clinton's campaign debt. "Overextended" might fit better, but no big deal. I was just making a joke about overtaxed as in "too many taxes costing me $$" ;)

All of this only works if we assume that anybody else would actually want it.:rotfl:
