Confession: I did it again last night. :oops:

I pulled a Yellow Sea patrol from Pearl. I set a course for Midway and called "ahead standard," then finished planning my route to reach station. That's when the trouble started. :shifty:

With the course laid in, the watch set and the boat ready for sea we were underway. There was nothing left to do except.....head for the bridge. :sunny:

The sunsets and sunrises were so beautiful... (even the wife noticed!)
The diesels were humming so soothingly...

Umm, don't tell Admiral Lockwood, but I never made it further than three days out from Pearl! :-?
