I try and reboot the computer multiple times and the game still says the same thing, I also try and run the game from the Icon, From the icon with administrator rights, from the dvd, both ways also.

Do you remember making a Ubisoft account? You may need to so you can communicate with them so they can turn your activation key codes back on.

I reinstalled direct x 9c and it installs easily, but still no luck.

I also tried to install Direct X from the SHIII disk files as well. but I still get

As for UBI soft I cannot even get to a screen that would allow me to type in ANY TYPE Of activation key or Code. All of which I have.

I created one but I can see that that will assist me in anyway.

Tried to activate even though the suggestion was to NOT activate
 

I have followed the directions like 18 times now to NOT ACTIVATE. I have also tried to activate another 10 each time I get the same response from UBI soft activation.

You are submitting a case in customer support right? This is your best bet in my opinion, tell them you have the 3 activation keys for the 3 games, but Install won't let you activate, so can they reset the keys so you can activate, or give you keys that will work.

Ask them that. Someone should get back to you and tell you what to do. Give them some time to get all their marbles in one sock. Patience.....

Don't post your keys in their forum or other people might see them.

In post #15 in this topic he says he made a folder C:\Ubisoft2 to install to:

It was a completely different load attempt with a different name.

I have tried,

C:\Ubisoft2/SilentHunterIII
C:\SilentHunterIII
C:\SHIII
C:\SilentHunter3
C:\IGIVEUP10
LOL (not yet)

I have the same files that you have. I took a screen shot of them.

The same thing comes up
 

The same thing comes up it just states a different load folder,

ie C:\SHIII\MissionEngine.dll: unknown version.

or

C:\SilentHunterIII.dll: unknown version.

or

C:\Ubisoft2\SilenthunterIII.dll: unknown version


I will say I used a different file from a different download site to load 1.4b and the whole thing worked perfectly except it still wouldn't load up to play.

OK I am past not being able to update
 

I have made it past not being able to update to 1.4 b......

Now I just cannot open and play the game. I have used the starforce remover, but it does not show that I even have starforce on my system.

Europe, the Middle East and Africa, eh? I don't think an EMEA DVD is compatible in Ohio - if that's where you are.

I'm not in the Yellow Sea in real life, it is one of my favorite patrol areas in SH1, the original Silent Hunter.

If you're really in the US, some retailers sell the US DVD's of SH3, SH4 Gold, & SH5 bundled together pretty cheap. Amazon comes to mind.

No wonder you're having problems. Because of the DMCA I don't think I can watch an EMEA DVD movie here in the US on my player. Because I don't know much about these regions and the DMCA I did some quick digging and I thought this was interesting:
