I reinstalled Sh4 completely. Installed it outside C: (my system partition), installed the mod (only Dark Waters), and the shaking submarine bug was fixed. Sadly the texture issue still occurs in my game. :(

However am very grateful for the effort you put in to fix my game. As I said IX-D2 the only problematic sub for me, so it's not a very big deal.

haven't seen blocky clouds of smoke since Mt. Etna exploded in the first century...when video was 4 color-CGA:har:
clearly there is video continuity issue.

EDIT: The bow wakes on ships are also like that.

Are you playing windowed mode? You shouldn’t IMHO.
Try all sliders to the right (except gamma of course)

The uninstall didn't work either. I set the graphics settings to the settings you guys recommended but it didn't work.
I didn't restart the game, just realized that. You need to restart the game for the graphical settings to kick in.
I'll do that.

EDIT: My dad did say though that he got a notification that our WiFi blocked a threat on my computer. Maybe it compromised the download.

That's obviously a missing texture. You can see the billboard being drawn with flat colors because there is no texture to draw.

Tried that. Like, there is partly smoke and explosions, the torpedo impact explosion shows, it is almost like the smoke you guys created doesn't work. The stock smoke works, so do the stock explosions.

So what do I do to fix that?

EDIT: And yes, I did apply LAA.

I’m really sorry for you mate, but all was tested with success by many and you’re the first one with this issue...so my conclusion this issue HAS TO BE on your side :yep:
...now how to solve it, i dunno as you have tried plenty things already.
Have you enough RAM? It seems game (GPU) doesn’t want to render the particules :hmmm:
