The color on the Viic con tower is a bit off

Dark on the right side
And Bright on the left side

Would it be possible to ADD more Crew in Command RooM of IX class?
Looks so empty compared too the detailed type vii

Hi,
I don’t have the dark color at all. Might be your settings. My VIIC is clean neat everywhere around.
As you may have read in post above, i take a break from modding this mod. So no more crew for the moment...

I’m re-discovering a mega mod i tried long ago, but abandoned for some reason i don’t remember... it’s LSH3 latest version.
I’m amazed by the overall rendering and the game play for such an old base game.
Of course WAC5 has better external looking U-Boats, but still have some running troubles with it (occasional CTDs - not to say huge loading times) which i don’t have with LSH3.

Could not get the game installed proberly?

I have tried WAC5.0 but i Got tired of the loading times

Quick question, do i follow the map marking or what the actual orders say? Because i have a patrol that says i need to go to BF74, but the actual patrol marker is in BF72.

You have to follow the map markers (either the orange star or the more accurate markers add-on) and draw the required radius Km with the compass from those markers.
OM grid is slightly off as stated Lurker in his original thread, only at some places...

Oh okay. Thats what i thought, nice to have some confirmation tho. I remember one time i had orders where the map marker was in the middle of the Atlantic but my actual orders were much closer to the East Coast of the US lol. I was so confused.

Just downloaded this mod, installed and tested.


Looks great, but I have two questions:


1. Is there a way to do this in wide-screen? I select 16:9 60 Hz, but it shows up as non-widescreen.


2. Is there a way to provide an "Identify Target" key assignment. I love manual targeting except for having to flip through the recognition manual.

Bizarre - I loaded it up a second time and re-selected the 16:9 60 Hz resolution and now it works for both issues above...

That is the way the Silent Hunter series works. They are old DirectX v9.0c games, and have to be re-started for certain changes to take effect. Most of the game runs off of the Save folder. Be sure and empty your Save folder ("C:\Users \UserName \Documents \SH4" by default), else you will mix what you were running before with what you have now, and end up with "mod soup" of the bad kind... :salute:
