I want to compliment you guys on the way this forum is set up, btw. I want to play a modded version of SH5 and I must say: I have rarely seen such an amazing collection of guides and mods. Very helpful for someone who wants to 'ease back' into these types of games.

Moin Moin, I'm Michael, living in northern Germany. I'm 63 Years old and playing U-Boot-Games since 1987 (Silent Service on an AMIGA 500).
Without this fine Community, SH5 would be unplayable.

I finally broke down and bought this game. When it came out, I recoiled in horror at both the new control "interface" and the system requirements. Years later, my laptop runs SH5 smoothly, and the efforts of so many great modders have made this game playable and, dare I say it, fun! The only downside is that I no longer have room for SH4 on my hard drive. Oh well, time for another new computer… :ping:
